Very friendly helpful staff who are all approachable. My mother has been very happy here and well looked after.
The staff at Court Lodge was excellent and would highly recommend this home.
My sister was a resident for fourteen months. We found it was a really lovely nursing home. All the staff were wonderful, prepared to "go the extra mile". Management, nursing, caring, kitchen, dining, cleaning, laundry, gardening and maintenance were all prepared to chat and always had a smile and a kind word.
The resident activities organiser provided a very varied programme and a mini-bus outing weekly. I do not hesitate to highly recommend this home for your loved one. I can only thank them all for all they did for us.
I enjoyed the pub meal, which was a great big fry up.
I enjoyed my company on the bus and at the pub.
The staff were wonderful and whole day trip was well planned. I enjoy the drive around the Cathedral.
Very nice and busy atmosphere., caring nurses. The entertainments lady is very good and lovely with the residents.
As relatives, we are kept informed and encouraged to join in events and have been so impressed with the welcoming and positive approach by staff to residents and family.
I found everybody very friendly.
Gorgeous Thai barbeque and entertainment.
Always well treated.
Attended as a guest, the barbeque on 8th Sept. A well organised and most enjoyable three hours with excellent food and entertainment. Well done!
On arriving at Court Lodge, I immediately felt at ease. The reception area is always bright and friendly and staff are very friendly. My mother has improved so much in the last two years, which is a great relief for me as I live in South Africa. Keep up the excellent work and Thank you!
Excellent care home for long stay residents. All necessary facilities provided ie. laundry, chiropodist, hairdresser, nurses (medicine on time), rooms cleaned daily. Enjoyable meals. Activity organisers arrange interesting outings to suit all types.
Mums 100th birthday- we had a family meal at Court Lodge. The chef worked hard and produced a good lunch. We also enjoyed a celebration drink with other residents. A special birthday cake was made for the day which mum enjoyed and was nicely decorated. The activities staff had made a great effort to select a present for my mum and decorate the home. The manager came in to wish mum a Happy Birthday and share communion with us. This was appreciated by mum. Thank you to all.
Very comfortable. Bell always answered promptly. Bedroom and en suite kept v clean. All staff very cheerful.
This is an excellent place 'as home' and to visit my friend. He has been here for a few weeks. Has been treated with care and friendship. The staff have been a pleasure to meet when I visit.
As usual warm welcome from all staff. They are very friendly, attentive, polite and helpful. We had a very tasty lunch in the library for Uncle's birthday.
I enjoyed the picnic to the New Forest today, was great to go back to a place I used to go to regularly.
I enjoyed the trip to the New Forest today for a picnic, the food was great. The trip was done to perfection, lovely ride along the sea as well.
Excellent with everything very professional, friendly and of a high standard.
Mum spent the past year at Court Lodge and every day she was always given the best of care. During the last few weeks of her life she was cared for with dignity and compassion, from every member of staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble during the year, it felt like she was a member of a big family and everyone truly cared. The staff took every opportunity to spend time with Mum, whether it was doing her nails or just sitting with her during her last weeks holding her hand. We, as a family, always received a warm welcome and were always kept up to date with any changes. For me, as her daughter, it was a big relief to know that someone was on hand day and night for Mum. End of Life care can be a subject people avoid but the nurses and Managers kept me very well informed at every turn, with honest and "past experience" information which proved invaluable and helped us through. Thank you to every member of staff from us all.
