When visiting my sister at Langdale the staff are always polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are very friendly and considerate towards residents and family members. Longdale is always clean and managed effectively by all members of staff.
Thank you
I found that all aspects of the nursing home have exceeded both my and my mum's expectations. The staff consistently try to include mum in activities, some she has not considered previously. Both physical and nursing care are excellent. Staff are always available to answer questions and to communicate updates on mum's health. Everyone is very approachable, professional and friendly.
We very much appreciate your positive feedback on our service, and thank you for taking the time to complete a review.
Langdale is a very good care home, they tend to do what I want, but are always there to advise + support as I need.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service it is much appreciated.
Mum receives ongoing care at Langdale. She has built some strong relationships with her caring and nursing team that positively affects her quality of life. Langdale have always listened to feedback provided and take my concerns seriously. Communication is mostly good and I value having access to her care records.
Thank you for your positive feedback it is much appreciated.
My mum's care is fantastic. The staff are caring and very kind. The home is clean and has a lovely garden.
Thank you for your kind words which I will cascade to the rest of the team.
A very family friendly care home with such kind and dedicated staff. Both my parents have been cared for with respect and dignity.
Thank you so much for your positive comments which are much appreciated.
Staff are friendly and welcoming. My sister seams settled and happy.
Thank you for your feedback which is much appreciated.
My wife is very happy at Langdale. She feels safe and loves to have visitors. Luckily there are no restrictions on visiting as we have a large family. Medically she is well cared fir and has her personal favourites among the staff. Though she cannot share in the many games, quizzes and entertainment provided, she enjoys company. She is happy with the food and drink supplied and normally has a good appetite.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, it is very much appreciated and I will cascade to the team your positive comments
I have found Langdale a very welcoming and homely home where staff go above and beyond with their care for my mum. Whenever we visit which could be any time of the day we are made welcome and everyone is so friendly.
We very much welcome your positive comments and thank you for taking the time to provide a review.
I went to visit Graham on his birthday. The staff had put balloons on his door for his birthday. The staff had put balloons on his door with a banner. He was very happy with that. He has been in residence for nearly 18 months now, and he is settled in very well. The staff are full of fun and always around, should a resident need anything. The home is always clean and tidy, as are the staff, too. It's always a pleasure to visit.
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback ,It is very much appreciated.
Staff are very good, helpful & polite. Place needs a bit updating.
Thank you for your review of our service we are very sorry you have found our service wanting and would like to response to you personally when you next visit your Mum to address your concerns.
I am happy with the care my mother is given. The staff are nice to her. I sometimes see her in the lounge and they let her stay in bed if she wants to.
Thank you for your positive feedback which is very welcome and which I will cascade to the team.
Very happy with the care. I don't live locally and don't always get an update on how my brother is doing, would like more updates on when he's not doing well.
Thank you for your feedback, which is always appreciated. I have passed your comment re contact with the nursing team to our clinical lead. I have also checked our care system which shows on each healthcare interaction you have been telephoned with your brother's consent to update you with his current health evaluation.
We, as the family of my sister-in-law, wish to state our gratitude for the care and consideration shown to my sister-in-law during the last 6 years of her life here. She was treated with love respect and a smile. It was the perfect home for her. She was able to stay in the close area she had previously lived in. Thank you from the family.
It has been our pleasure to look after your aunt and very much appreciate your kind words.
The staff are always friendly, polite and kind. They arranged a lovely tea when it was my parent's Diamond Wedding Anniversary.
Thank you for your positive feedback which is much appreciated.
It is very clean and tidy, the residents are well looked after, all the staff are very caring and always happy to talk if you have any concerns. Health and safety are well covered. I would recommend Langdale to anyone looking for a nice care home.
Sometimes lack of communication, receiving invoices for something you thought was a gift. You arrive to be given an invoice for a complete year of TV licence only to be given an invoice for the same amount for the whole year a few months later. Apart from being away from my family and friends, I am happy here and I have been very lucky to have been placed here. I have only been here since mid-December 2022 and I hope I will be happy here.
Thank you for your feedback which is important to us.
Room is too narrow for modern equipment. Staff work well under cramped conditions and Covid restrictions. My wife is very happy with most conditions but would like more help during the night when she feels very frightened of falling. I feel the home is very good and under normal conditions would rate excellent with less cramped conditions.
I sometimes find it difficult to understand some of the staff. I'm still getting used to the care home having only recently moved here from another care home. My room is better than what I had before. My experience is generally okay. I prefer to only be cared for by female staff.
My son has been at Langdale for several years now due to his needs following a rta and although this review is for June nothing is different to the care he has received at Langdale always. My son has needs requiring particular care and Langdale meet these in all aspects. All the staff are professional and caring.
Thank you for your positive comments it has been a pleasure to care for you son over the passed twelve years. I will pass your comments on to the team. Thank you.
