The home provided a calm, caring environment. The staff treat the residents with dignity and respect. They were always willing to help and support family members. Staff were always available to spend time with the residents when required. We felt very happy with the care and attention she received.

The staff at this home were amazing. They looked after mum so well. They made the family so welcome which meant a lot to us and I know mum passed away in a caring nursing home, so thank you.

Latham Lodge looked after my dad with the highest level of care and dignity. They were professional on all levels and could not give any more care than they did.

I am very happy to know that he had spent his final days in your care, and am confident that he would have got no better care anywhere else.

My dad came to Latham Lodge from a hospice for "end of life" care. He is suffering from a large bladder tumour and requires full-time care and attention. The staff here are absolutely fantastic and the care my dad receives is first class.

We have no complaints at all with the nursing, the food, the personal care and everyone is so friendly.

All the staff were amazing from the day we viewed to the day we lost our beloved Nan the staff went above and beyond every day good and bad. Not only for Nan, but for the family too. They truly care about all the residents on a personal level which makes the care they provide so much better. I thank them for all that they did and would be happy to have any other family go there if the time came. Thank you to you - you're all a blessing.

My mother-in-law, for whom I am primary carer; moved into Latham Lodge from hospital under the NHS Continuous Care scheme having been given a terminal diagnosis.
She was s resident for nearly three weeks until she died on April 7th.
The care, kindness and love she received from all the staff was exemplary. As a family, we cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful treatment she received.

I praise Latham Lodge and recommend it at every opportunity and the family members thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

Wanted to give due credit to two members of staff at Latham Lodge. My mother was welcomed into the home on Thursday 29th Sept after a long spell in hospital, diagnosed with terminal brain tumour and other problems. She spent just one night and one day and was well cared for such that she was referred back to the hospital on Friday 30th Sept. Such prompt assessment led to readmission with suspected pneumonia. Two staff members were very thorough and telephoned me to inform of their decision and exactly the right thing to have done. I am so grateful that as a new resident they did everything they could to deal efficiently with the situation.

Overall Experience
My Father was at Latham Lodge for almost 3 years, and both Dad & his family/visitors were looked after well & treated with kindness and courtesy, from EVERY member of staff.
Latham Lodge may not be the smartest looking Nursing Home compared to some of larger more 'hotel' looking care homes, but they have what matters in abundance. A relatively small turnover of staff, Staff who are friendly, knowledgeable, kind & who REALLY look after their residents. The staff are what makes Latham Lodge a great place for your loved one.

I have no reservations in recommending this Care Home to you. Don't be put off by the look of the place from outside or the décor within. It's clean, and the staff are the absolute heart of the place.

Dear Helen, thank you so much for taking the time to review Latham Lodge, especially at such a sad time.

Your father was a pleasure to care for and we have felt his loss keenly. The team would also like to thank you for the wonderful cupcakes and beautiful card you left; they really were...
