Overall Experience
The staff in this home are exceptional the kindness and patience they show is genuine.
The home smells pleasant and it is clean.

The building is quite large and a little confusing at first. Limited space in rooms and corridors.

Overall Experience

My mum went to Solent Cliffs as end of life. The manager and her staff were so caring as my mum would not settle as she wanted to be at home but the level of care she needed the home option was out of the equation. All nursing staff won my mum round and her 3 weeks there before she passed away we could not have wanted a better home for her.

Overall Experience

The staff at Queensmead, are so so caring and attentive to all their clients and families. Nothing is too much for them, I don't have to worry about my fathers well-being, which helps to enjoy being there with him. The food is excellent, in that they have a varied choice and good portions. Also it's very clean, it feels like home from home in some ways. Excellent!

Hayley Kramm
Hayley KrammJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2023

I began my career in care at the age of 18 at Solent Cliffs Nursing Home, where my passion for nursing first took root. I went on to train as a nurse at London South Bank University; once qualified, I gained valuable experience as a stroke nurse at King’s College Hospital. After two years in the fast-paced environment of a London hospital, I returned to the South and joined the cardiac intensive care team at Southampton University Hospital. I later returned to Solent Cliffs as a registered general nurse before stepping into my first managerial role at another nursing home, where I earned my NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management. Following this, I worked at Beechwood, another Beneva home, where I progressed from RGN to clinical lead and eventually deputy manager. When the opportunity arose to return to Solent Cliffs as manager, I felt a strong calling to come back to the place where my journey began. I am deeply passionate about delivering person-centred care, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring all residents—regardless of age—can live with dignity and comfort. I also enjoy mentoring staff and promoting growth within the team. The home at Solent Cliffs benefits from a wide variety of experience and a rich, multicultural background, something I value deeply, as it brings diverse perspectives and strengthens the care they provide.
