As you arrive at Foxholes it looks like a 5* hotel. Once in you quickly experience real 5* service. Family owned and run, super clean and well maintained, foxholes is friendly and caring with 5* service from the owners, management and carers. The food choice is excellent and varied, there is always something for everyone. The rooms are lovely with different options to meet all needs. During the day there are activities or you can chill out in one of the many lounges. It really is a super care home and In recent times I haven't seen my 94 year old dad so happy! Thank you Foxholes for your love and Care!

Usha & her team made a difficult path so much easier to navigate & we can't thank them enough. Everyone is kind, respectful & attentive & the quality of care & professionalism is very high. Staff are approachable & communication with residents & families is very good. The Housekeeping team are miracle workers with cleanliness and laundry & the home & rooms have a 'homely' feel. The quality of meals and beverages is also very high & staff are readily available to assist if needed. There are varied, stimulating activities which run 7 days a week and relatives are always welcomed to join in. Overall the home offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and mum has settled in really well and is very happy and we can't thank the team enough for all their support.

My mother was fiercely independent until recently and at 98 years old her sight finally failed her and she was unable to manage things just because she couldn't see. I took time to find the right care home and Foxholes was an excellent choice. I was made welcome from my initial enquiry through to Mum moving in. It has taken a while for her to get used to things and find her way around but the staff have been extremely welcoming and very helpful, she doesn't want for anything. She is now starting to settle and get involved in those activities she can participate in. Her room is beautiful with a lovely view of the gardens, though she cannot see well she is aware of the sun shining through the window in the morning. The setting of the home is beautiful, in rolling countryside, landscaped gardens and fountains. The food is amazing and if she doesn't like what is on the menu the chef will always prepare something else. All staff go above and beyond to help. I would thoroughly recommend.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Foxholes Care Home who looked after Nanna (Gladys) with such care and attention for years!
It has taken me a while to write this review, but I forever grateful for everything they did for her and us as a family. They certainly helped Nanna put years on to her life and made her feel safe, happy and loved - even with her dementia.
They even let the cat, Jodie, stay with Nanna and continued to look after her after Nanna had passed.
Thank you for everything you did and continue to do for others. Thank you for always inviting us to your events and making us feel part of the Foxholes family!
Forever Grateful!

We attended the Christmas party organised by the Events team and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Dad was guided to his seat by one of the team and enjoyed a cup of tea whilst Cara sang many festive classics. The buffet was delicious and there was a nice selection of sweet and savoury items. Thank you so much for a very festive afternoon.

My father in law has dementia and recently has been struggling more with some of the symptoms.
This has been a huge worry for my wife in particular and he has needed extra care and support. The Foxholes Team has provided this enabling him to remain safe and happy.
Along with the stimulation and daily activities that Foxholes provides he is treated as an individual plus he has built some wonderful friendships with both staff and other residents.
We are also so welcomed as visitors and family members.

Thank you so much Foxhloes you are a unique organisation.

I had 2 weeks of respite care after back surgery. There were plenty of activities, but I was unable to join any physical ones. The garden allowed gentle walking, my only 'permitted' activity. My meals were custom prepared due to an intolerance of fat/oil ingredients. An excellent fireworks display took place on 5/11/25 to my delight, as I presumed I would miss out this year.

i would definitely recommend Foxhole Care Home as they offer a 5 star service in every area of an individuals daily care home requirements. The management and staff are always extremely professional, giving first class customer service in hospitality and medical care. The residents rooms and communal areas are luxurious in both design and comfort, with cleanliness being of the highest standard at all times.

The weekly activity programme is both varied and fun, including daily exercise, quiz's and musical entertainment. Foxholes always celebrate special anniversary occasions such as Christmas and Bonfire Night with great style. and the outside gardens are superb. Every member of the team always make me feel like part of the family when i visit my mother, who has happily lived at Foxholes for the past 3 years.

My experience with my mum being at Foxholes care home is superb.
I notice all mums needs and wishes being met with kindness , compassion and safety by all the staff.
It is a beautiful, clean and well cared for environment with sunny airy places to sit both inside and outside in the gorgeous gardens.
Mum can join in a variety of activities daily if she chooses to. Care is taken to make everyone welcome and comfortable to join in.
Mum first went to stay for 2 weeks to give me respite and for her to see how she felt. She never wanted to leave! She says she loves her room and has a seat at her window to watch the gardens and even other residents walk around.
I feel very welcome and at home when I visit and have got to know lots of the staff and other residents which is important as I visit twice a week.

Overall the best decision mum has made at this point in her life.

Our friend was living alone in his apartment and finding it increasingly difficult to manage. It was decided that he really needed to find a Care Home suitable for his needs. He is highly intelligent and always been independent but circumstances change as older age takes over. We went with him to visit a few care homes locally but most seemed to cater for Ladies playing Bingo. When we went to Foxholes it was a totally different experience. A very welcoming Reception and atmosphere, a very family feel . All the staff were smiling and obviously very happy with their working environment. We couldn't recommend Foxholes highly enough and we enjoy going to visit him there.are

Choosing a Care Home for our Dad has been one of the biggest decisions we have ever made as a family.
Care Homes don't always have the best image but the moment we walked through the doors of Foxholes we were blown away.
The building and grounds are beautiful with the most stunning countryside views, happy staff and smiling residents. Frothy coffees being served in the orangery and an ice cream machine for the residents to help themselves to throughout the day!
Unprompted, visiting family members praised Foxholes and reassured us we were making a decision we wouldn't regret.
Activities at least twice a day.. a movie night, 'pub night', weekly gentlemen's lunch (restaurant quality food) as well as family events which have been fabulous!

Most importantly Dad is treated as an individual and the whole team have gone above and beyond to maintain his identity and make him feel at home. A VERY special place.. Mum would have been proud of our choice because Dad was her world..

My mother came to Foxholes in November 2022, she adapted well to the home as all the staff were so welcoming. The home provides a wonderful homes for its residents , not only the furnishings , the beautiful setting with luxury gardens but from the management , the carers , the chefs, the housekeeping staff , the activities team , they all care about the residents and that's very evident.

They also care very much about the families and we have experienced this first hand going above and beyond .I would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone .

As mum was my last remaining relative and I currently live in Australia, it was a pleasure visiting my dying mother whilst she was at Foxholes. It was a three month journey and although it was difficult for my mother who was a very independent and strong willed woman, she was always treated with respect and dignity by the staff. As mum did not want to pass away in hospital, it was up to Foxholes to provide end of care and I am very happy with all the staff's efforts and attention to my mother. It was very reassuring to know that there would always be someone there for mum 24/7.

Mum didn't want to go into a care home, but Foxholes was different. Unlike a corporation Foxholes is a family owned, family run home so mum was able to furnish and personalise her room. It looked much like her front lounge. We were also able to come and go as if visiting her at home, as were her many friends. The staff were lovely, patient and professional. Mum was assigned a key worker, but all the carers popped in to say hello. She was never alone. She had a lovely room overlooking the landscaped garden. Activities were laid on both morning and afternoon. Some, like Irish dancing, or bringing an owl in, seemed to be done especially for mum. Towards the end, mum was cared for exceptionally well. She was warm, comfortable and pain free with regular checks by the GP. And when we needed to be there by her bedside, we were made welcome and looked after too. It made mum's passing more bearable, as were the messages of support and condolences from the staff, carers, residents and owners.

My mum was very reluctant to leave her own home, but when she saw Foxholes with its spacious and pristine facilities and the beautiful grounds, she was happy to take up residence there. The warmth and compassion shown by all staff was outstanding, and I always felt my mum was in extremely safe hands. When any (very minor) issue arose, it was dealt with promptly and taken seriously, thus ensuring that my mum felt that she had a voice and was among people who cared.

The very full programme of activities, catering to every taste, was impressive, and helped create the positive atmosphere that is immediately noticeable on entering the building. In her final days my mum needed full nursing care, and I will always be grateful for the way that she - and my husband and I - were supported at this difficult time. Staff were professional and immensely kind. I fully recommend Foxholes; if I can spend my twilight years in somewhere anything like as good as this, I will consider myself blessed!

My experience with Foxholes is very good. My father-in-law for the past 18 months has been looked after in a very caring, attentive and supportive manner. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff. The home is very well run by a close family who are always around and are very approachable to answer any questions.

The home is kept very clean throughout and is freshly decorated regularly. The food always looks delicious and is served and presented nicely. Although my father-in-law cannot get involved in all of the full program of activities the ones that he can enjoy are the many involving live music. All in all, we are very pleased with his care and can highly recommend Foxholes.

My dear dad has been in Foxholes care for over a year. He is a true gentleman aged 94 with specific needs. I feel most grateful that he has the best of care in his final years. The Foxholes team treat him with kindness and respect, fine-tuning his needs in a gentle and happy manner. When you walk into Foxholes you could easily be walking into the reception of a five-star hotel. A beautiful place and set in beautiful grounds with views of the countryside. The home is run by a close-knit family who are constantly around to offer their support. There is always a smile to be shared. There is a weekly program of ever-changing activities. Mealtimes are exceptional with freshly prepared choices, accompanied by a glass of wine if preferred. Families are welcome to join for mealtimes too. Birthdays are celebrated with a homemade cake and a party atmosphere. Calendar events are also given the very best of celebrations. "A big thank you" to the Foxholes team you are an outstanding care home!

My mother has been a resident at Foxholes Care Home for the past five years. It was her decision to sell her home and move into Foxholes as her sight, hearing and mobility deteriorated. Having been independent the adjustment to living in a community where all her needs were met was not easy. The staff understood this and treated her with understanding and compassion. The rooms and facilities inside and out are excellent and most importantly the staff are very capable and kind. The meals and snacks are appetising and presented in an attractive fashion. It is like living in a five-star hotel. There are daily activities and although mother cannot always take part the staff includes her and she is not left alone in her room. Now at 100 years old, she is happy and content. What more could the family ask?
