Brunswick Court welcomes nursing, residential and dementia stays, convalescence, palliative, and respite care. It can also provide care for people living with Parkinson's or Huntington's. Residents can stay for however long loved ones need support. They’ll get to relax and meet new friends, giving complete peace of mind.

Purpose-built, Brunswick Court has many comfortable lounges that are ideal for socialising, relaxing or welcoming visitors. All bedrooms are en-suite with walk-in showers. Double rooms are also available for couples or those wishing to share.

The home is well placed in a quiet residential area of town – close to the centre of Watford, and Cassiobury park which many of the residents enjoying visiting during the summer months.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. Having its own large activities room and dedicated activities team, allows Brunswick Court to offer a 7-day activities programme. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. So whether loved ones already have a hobby or would like to take up a new one, there are lots of exciting activities to get involved in. Anyone is welcome to pop in and join in, whether a friend, relative or loved one.

I was not walking when I got UTI. The deputy manager got me into Brunswick on time. Staff care for me well, now am back on my feel. I am very happy.

Since my mother-in-law came to this home we have noticed a marked improvement mentally and in her physical appearance. The carers are pleasant and caring and seem to make a real effort. Occasionally things crop up but they have all been dealt with in a satisfactory manner.
The entertainment laid on
is stimulating most of the time which is so important. In the event of any illness, we are kept informed and the staff are generally very helpful.

My father was taken into emergency respite until I had all the equipment at home. The level of care my dad received was excellent all of the staff were friendly and genuinely caring. My dad had three pressure sores which are now healing, they gave him the build-up milkshake which has done wonders and
he has gained weight. He has come home in fantastic shape and that is due to the fabulous work of all the carers on the Queen Elizabeth Unit. I cannot thank them enough.

When I arrived in the middle of March 2017, I was unable to get out of bed without any assistance. I was unable to walk, wash myself and I could hardly eat. However gradually, with the help and support of the staff, each week I gradually improved.


Now, I am able to do the following: get out bed,

wash and dress myself, walk unaided up to 250 metres, eat normally, conduct a near normal life.


I thoroughly recommend this care home.

I came here straight from hospital I was met at the door and made welcome by a staff member, given lunch and any help I needed. This is my home now and I look on the staff as my family and I get on well with all of them.

My husband has been in the care home for nearly on year. He is treated with respect and the staff are friendly and caring. He is unable to eat after 3 strokes and is fed by "peg". Unfortunately, he, on many occasions, spills his food over the carpets in his room and the home cleans his room so beautifully.
I am so happy that we are able for him to obtain a place in this care home.

Previously cared for at home live in carers, my daughter was badly neglected before coming to Brunswick Court. Just before whilst at home too neglected even her practitioner refused to visit her, ambulance while I was at her home, that night at hospital Dr phoned me from resuscitation ward to ask my
permission to do or not resuscitate should my daughter have a heart attack. On arrival to hospital she was found to have a collapsed lung, had pneumonia and the collapsed lung was fully white. Since coming to Brunswick Court she has been in heaven, my daughter has the best care here.

My mother was in Brunswick Court for nearly a year on the ground floor, the staff were very amazing, caring and looked after my mother very well. The deputy home manager is a godsend, passionate about what she does. The home is amazing.
