Chorleywood Beaumont Nursing Home prides itself on offering high-quality care to all of its residents and this is reflected in the good reputation it has with the Local Authority, Clinical Commissioning Group, and the Care Quality Commission.

The reason for the high accolades is that they focus on safety, clinical care and person-centred care of the residents – with the addition of a high-class environment, wide and varied activity programme, and exceptional nutritious and appetising dining experience.

Chorleywood Beaumont Nursing Home are proud to have been finalists in the Divisional Great British Care Awards 2024 for the Best Care Team Category.

Chorleywood Beaumont Nursing Home has a stable core team of staff – many of which have worked there for over 10 years. The committed team work hard to ensure that all provision is tailored to the individual, while allowing them to make the most of a relaxed and homely atmosphere.

In December 2021 the home underwent a major refurbishment which has given it a ‘wow’ impact.

The aim is to meet all residents’ needs over the long-term, living up to a reputation for quality that Barchester homes have earned.

They provide music therapy, physiotherapy, keep fit, aromatherapy and massage and also have a beauty and hair salon on site.

Mealtimes are very social occasions with residents enjoying complimentary drinks every day from the bar.

Mum was given a very warm welcome when she arrived last year and settled happily into her new home. She enjoys meeting the residents daily for a chat in the bar before lunch and eating in the conservatory. She loves going to church on Sundays with other residents and singing with the choir on Wednesdays.
Mum also enjoys zooming around the gardens in her wheelchair and the performing pets are always entertaining! The staff are always helpful and very caring.

My mum moved into the Barchester Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community two months ago. She has settled in very well, is safe, happy and content. It is clear to me that the overall environment, the residential care, nursing care, rooms, nutritious food, facilities and activities provided are excellent
- as you would expect. However, more importantly, the differentiator that stands out is the people - that is all staff/all roles, without exception - who run and operate the multiple services provided with care, kindness, consideration, efficiency and total professionalism. Well done and thank you to the general manager and her entire team. Your efforts are much appreciated.

We have been really pleased with the standard of care, cleanliness, food and activities. Obviously it has been an adjustment but the staff are attentive and working to make it a home.

This is the most beautiful nursing home, that sometimes feels more like a country club and is most definitely somewhere people go to thrive, both mentally and physically. The manager ensures the standards are kept high and the receptionists are extremely helpful. The gardens, cafe and dining room family
and friends can visit all made my mum, who has a walking frame, feel she was getting out and about like she used to. But, the most special thing is the carers, exceptionally kind and patient and they always seem to have time. They are all very special people and I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Professional, welcoming, caring, luxurious, great activities and facilities, a wonderful care community.
Responsive to needs and well-staffed with friendly carers, management and caterers.
Cannot think of a better, safer or nurse-appropriate home for a loved one to spend the latter years of life.

My experience in Barchester Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community was a very good experience. The staff were very helpful, they were there whenever I needed them. The food and the service were exceptional, everything I needed. All in all, was a great stay.

Recently attended an amazing afternoon at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community with jazz band, cocktails, canapés and afternoon tea. The staff were so attentive, kind and welcoming; the food was incredible, thanks to the head chef and catering team; the entertainment with familiar, well-known, iconic
songs made the day a very memorable one. Big thanks to one member of staff and her lovely team for being so thoughtful and generous. We look forward to returning.

I visited my aunt at Chorleywood Beaumont earlier this week, along with my Mum and Dad, who are in their 80s. We were so impressed with the staff, they were very kind, proactive and attentive to my aunt’s needs. It’s a lovely environment and we are so grateful that she’s being well looked after.

Chorleywood Beaumont gives outstanding care to all its residents - the staff are caring, kind and treat everyone with the utmost respect. Relatives and friends are made to feel welcome and included. The management goes above and beyond and it is a pleasure to visit and spend time with them. It’s a shame
not all nursing and care homes are run as well as this one.

Two particular members of staff and the rest of the team went above and beyond to celebrate my friend's 95th birthday, baking a cake and singing "Happy Birthday". They then encouraged her to eat and drink and talk about her life.

My son and I cared for my dear and beloved wife for several years without help. She had osteoporosis, multi myeloma, deafness and dementia and became continent and lost her mobility. We found that we could not continue to look after her well and looked for the best care home and found Chorleywood Beaumont
Care Community the manager and their care were superb and we cannot praise them enough.

Having cared for my mum for four years without any help whatsoever she ended up in hospital for a month with firstly a water infection and then Covid. The dear old hospital was forcing her out for a bed, now we were looking for a good nursing home. She had become doubly incontinent and lost all mobility
in the hospital. We found Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community and the manager who quite frankly has been excellent considering all of Mum's multiple problems. She was only there five days before passing but it was a privilege to have been called in time to be there with Mum in time to be with her at the end for which I can't thank the nurses there enough.

My lovely mum went into Chorleywood Care Home in March 2022, as she was unable to look after herself and needed nursing care. After viewing several care homes, I would highly recommend this care home. There are lots of things to look for when you are searching for the right care home for your loved
ones and this one has everything! It is a lovely care home and family oriented! The staff have done an amazing job looking after my lovely mum, and my mum loved the care home, nurses and carers. It was her home (sadly my lovely mum passed away in January 2023) - This was just the perfect place for her to be in, and in this last chapter of her life and it makes me happy to know that my mum was happy at your care home genuinely cared for. Thank you to all the staff!

Having visited three homes before, we decided to bring my mother-in-law, we like the homely and friendly atmosphere. Once she came she took a while to settle and is now very happy. She enjoys the food, activities and friendly staff. The activities keep her entertained and she seems to enjoy being here.
We usually bring her down to the lounge on each visit and staff, residents and residents' families always make it a good visit.

Hello, my name is Razvan and I am the General Manager at Chorleywood Beaumont.


I qualified as a nurse in 2014 and joined Barchester shortly after. I have worked in various roles during my time at Barchester including as a senior nurse, a clinical lead, and a clinical deputy manager and promoted to the position of General Manager in September 2024.


I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a great team at Chorleywood Beaumont. I use the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years to support residents and improve their wellbeing, and lifestyle and deliver outstanding care.

Hello, My Name is Claudia I am the Deputy Manager at Chorleywood Beaumont.
I joined Barchester in 2017 and I qualified as a Nurse in 2020 and I was promoted to Unit manager. I have worked in Various roles during 2017 and promoted to position for Acting Clinical Deputy Manager since January 2025.

Hello, my name is Ratandeep and I am the head chef at Chorleywood Beaumont.


I joined Barchester in January 2021 and completed the Barchester chef academy between September 2022 to September 2023. I was delighted to join the Chorleywood Beaumont team in August 2024 as Head Chef.


I love being a Chef and my interest in cooking came from helping my family when I was growing up. I really enjoy meeting and getting to know residents. It makes me very happy to see the delight and enjoyment my food brings to people.

From the very beginning, I felt a strong connection with the residents, families, and the incredible team here. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, and I’m proud to share that as of July 2025, I’ve stepped into the role of Unit Manager Nurse for the North Unit.
