I visited my aunt at Chorleywood Beaumont earlier this week, along with my Mum and Dad, who are in their 80s. We were so impressed with the staff, they were very kind, proactive and attentive to my aunt’s needs. It’s a lovely environment and we are so grateful that she’s being well looked after. Thanks so much to the whole team, but especially the nurse.
I would like to thank you for your comment and I will pass these on to our team who will appreciate the good feedback for the hard work they do every day. We always try our best to help new residents settle into the home, get to know them better and help them to socialise with others and hopefully make new friends
Chorleywood Beaumont gives outstanding care to all its residents - the staff are caring, kind and treat everyone with the utmost respect. Relatives and friends are made to feel welcome and included. The management goes above and beyond and it is a pleasure to visit and spend time with them. It’s a shame not all nursing and care homes are run as well as this one.
Thank you for the positive comments. We shall share your message with the staff. It is rewarding to look after our residents and positive comments are always appreciated.
We have been welcomed warmly to Barchester Chorleywood by all staff on several occasions this week. The general manager has explained all of the details extremely well which put my parents at ease.
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit this review, we all really appreciate this positive feedback.
Two particular members of staff and the rest of the team went above and beyond to celebrate my friend's 95th birthday, baking a cake and singing "Happy Birthday". They then encouraged her to eat and drink and talk about her life.
Thank you for taking the time to write about your friend's positive care experience; we are thrilled to have our team's efforts recognised. Have a wonderful day!
My son and I cared for my dear and beloved wife for several years without help. She had osteoporosis, multi myeloma, deafness and dementia and became continent and lost her mobility. We found that we could not continue to look after her well and looked for the best care home and found Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community the manager and their care were superb and we cannot praise them enough.
Thank you for your kind review. It is nice to know all the hard work and dedication the team put in is recognised.
Having cared for my mum for four years without any help whatsoever she ended up in hospital for a month with firstly a water infection and then Covid. The dear old hospital was forcing her out for a bed, now we were looking for a good nursing home. She had become doubly incontinent and lost all mobility in the hospital. We found Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community and the manager who quite frankly has been excellent considering all of Mum's multiple problems. She was only there five days before passing but it was a privilege to have been called in time to be there with Mum in time to be with her at the end for which I can't thank the nurses there enough.
I just wanted to say thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to me as the general manager as we pride ourselves in the care we deliver. I will pass on your comments to the team.
My lovely mum went into Chorleywood Care Home in March 2022, as she was unable to look after herself and needed nursing care. After viewing several care homes, I would highly recommend this care home. There are lots of things to look for when you are searching for the right care home for your loved ones and this one has everything! It is a lovely care home and family oriented! The staff have done an amazing job looking after my lovely mum, and my mum loved the care home, nurses and carers. It was her home (sadly my lovely mum passed away in January 2023) - This was just the perfect place for her to be in, and in this last chapter of her life and it makes me happy to know that my mum was happy at your care home genuinely cared for. Thank you to all the staff!
Thank you, Sharon, we always appreciate individuals taking the time to give their feedback and we are very pleased to hear that your experience at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home has been so positive. All of our staff are committed to providing the best possible care experience for all of our residents and it is very rewarding to have their efforts recognised.
My mother is a resident of Barchester Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community. She has settled in very well, due to the caring and attentive nature of all the staff. They are helpful at all times and have made her feel at home. My mother's room and all the common areas are bright, smart and well-maintained which helps to lift the spirits. A variety of interesting activities are held regularly, providing entertainment and stimulus for all the residents. I would thoroughly recommend the home to anyone considering residential care for themselves or their relatives.
Thank you Douglas for kindly taking the time to write a review of Chorleywood Beaumont and for the comments. We are sure they will find your comments very valuable.
Having visited three homes before, we decided to bring my mother-in-law, we like the homely and friendly atmosphere. Once she came she took a while to settle and is now very happy. She enjoys the food, activities and friendly staff. The activities keep her entertained and she seems to enjoy being here. We usually bring her down to the lounge on each visit and staff, residents and residents' families always make it a good visit.
Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review and for the lovely way you have described our home. We pride ourselves in making a real difference to the lives of our residents and creating a great place to live and it is encouraging for our staff to receive such positive feedback. We will ensure that your comments are passed on to the whole team.
The respite care received by my mother over six weeks was perfect. After a fall and several complications to her back, my mother retained fitness, strength and health. This was due to the care of the nurses, the attentiveness of the staff and the good food. It was above all not just a care home but a caring home.
Thank you for your kind review, we are delighted to hear how well looked after and happy your mother was at Chorleywood Beaumont. Your comments are very much appreciated and will be shared with the team

We needed urgent respite care for my father whilst we organised to care for him at home. The Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community stepped up to help us rebuild his strength-there were infection issues which needed addressing and were health with expertly. The kindness shown was just what he needed to get back to a steady routine.
We are so pleased to read your wonderful comments about the care your father received at Chorleywood Beaumont, he was a joy to care for, and the team were thrilled with your feedback as we strive for person-centred care for all our lovely residents.
My late wife was a resident and under intense nursing care for two and a half years, and during this period, received all the attention required to ensure a comfortable and peaceful stay.
I would recommend this home to other families requiring a comfortable, peaceful and happy environment.
Thank you so much for the lovely review! I will pass on your review to the staff - it is an absolute pleasure to have you at Chorleywood Beaumont.

My father was in this home for palliative care for 7-weeks before sadly passing away. From the moment we went to look around the home, we found it a warm, welcoming and caring community. He needed nursing care, and this was very good, both in terms of his medications and the extra care he needed. We could be confident that he was in good hands. The carers looked after all his needs and ensured he was comfortable, regularly checked and always helped with a smile. He said they were all very friendly and helpful as they were to us. The catering and cleaning were also excellent. He couldn't participate in the activities but liked to listen to the music and sing in his room, and we were impressed by the range of activities on offer. The whole home is bright, cheerful and very well equipped. Dad was very pleased with his sunny room and was proud to show it to visitors who were all made very welcome. I would thoroughly recommend this home, and we were all made to feel part of a community.
Chorleywood Beaumont we’re very happy to have your father and the family in our home. It is so wonderful to hear your experience was a pleasant one.
I visited this home to meet an old friend and catch up with how things were with him. My first impression was just how friendly and attentive the staff were to all the residents. My friend was in good humour and kept telling me how well he was being treated at the home and how he now felt that he was now part of a big family and he clearly couldn’t be happier. I’d like to thank all the staff for their kindness to my friend and when I left I knew he was in good hands. Thank you, Barchester at Chorleywood.

My grandmother loves her new home. She came in for respite care and decided to extend her stay because she felt safe and has made friends. She says the carers are really friendly and sit with her when she misses my mum. She likes eating in the posh restaurant and the lovely lounge.
Thank you for your kind words. We are delighted your Grandmother has settled in well and is enjoying her stay. I will pass on your comments to the team.
Here on two weeks respite with my husband. Made to feel welcome from arrival. Every care was taken to ensure all our needs were noted e.g help with dressing, showering. I developed an infection and my needs were seen to and new medication was required. Facilities are good, dining area, lounges are cheerful and bright. The cafe is open all day to help oneself to beverages, biscuits, cakes and fruit. The garden is pleasant to walk in with seating in various areas. The carers always have a smile and were quick to any assistance. We have found our stay to be all we hoped for and would definitely come again.
Thank you very much for your comment we really appreciate the positive remarks and enjoyed having you at Chorleywood Beaumont.
My father was a resident in the home for a very short period of time before he passed away. The staff at Beaumont were very attentive and made Dad's last weeks very comfortable. I would certainly recommend Beaumont for their care and attention.
Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss
