Clean home, smells nice (no hospital smell), staff helpful and polite and very welcoming, patient happy.
We are very happy with the levels of care provided. Very attentive, caring staff with effective management of the overall facility.
Yesterday was a really lovely day at Kingfisher they had Pygmy Goat and Chicks which all the Resident’s and families enjoyed. Thank you to all involved, enjoyable.
My mother spent a year at Kingfisher nursing Home and she was always well cared for and shown respect and kindness at all times. The staff were very professional and diligent.
My cousin has been a resident at Kingfisher Nursing Home for the last 3 and a half years. When she first arrived, there had been a constant turnover of managers and staff, which did not make for good morale or management. Also, the décor etc was very tired and depressing. However, along comes the present manager, who has turned Kingfisher completely around. Along with her loyal, caring staff and a makeover of the rooms etc, as I write this, my cousin has passed away but she has been very well cared for and with great dignity during her time living here.
Walking in without any warning, the warm welcome I received from a member of staff and gave me a feeling of caring and kindness given to residents/patients. If it were possible, this would be the nursing home for my beloved sick husband - to my great delight and joy he has now been accepted.
My friend has been a resident here for some time. She is happy and well cared for. The staff are focussed on the well being of their patients and it is noticeable that the consistent staffing of recent times has had a beneficial effect.
My father has been at the Kingfisher since October. I have found the staff and the home in general very good. The food is to a high standard and there are lots of choices. The chef does a wonderful job. The Christmas party, organised by the entertainment manager, was really lovely. We as a family are very pleased with the homes manager, the staff and the home in general.
We have just enjoyed an extremely happy Christmas party, attended by residents and their families. The staff continue to be positive and enthusiastic in their work. They treat residents as one of their family and don't seem to treat it as just a job.
I found all the staff to be very caring and approachable. Nothing was too much of an effort. My mum was comfortable with all the staff. The food was of a very high standard and there was always plenty, too much for my mum. I know she enjoyed her stay there and I was very happy with the care she received.
My dad had complex needs, everything was put in place to make him feel comfortable and cared fro. Every member of staff treated us and my dad with kindness and compassion. I cannot thank the manager and her team enough.
Staff are kind - food is good, pleasant people.
He is treated with dignity and kindness ina ll ways.
Everywhere is kept clean and there is a 'comfortable' atmosphere to the home.
I'd like to also thank the manager for following up immediately on a question I had regarding my father as always.
The room is nice, the food is good, staff are excellent.
We have been kept informed over mum's care all the time. The manager and all her staff have been extremely kind to our mum and to us. The staff have made the terrible expereicne of our mum's health more bearable with their kindness and support. We would definitely recommend the Kingfisher to all. Professional, kind, clean and friendly home. Thank you to all the staff.
Moved from another nursing home. Came to look at home, was made very welcome. My Mum in Law moved here and was made very welcome on arrival. The kindness and care of staff enabled my Mum in Law to settle in very quickly. The Manager has been very accommodating and always welcomes you with a beautiful smile.
Very impressed with staff and conditions. Resident very happy here. Moving in went very smoothly and staff were very welcoming.
I have enjoyed being here. The company, the food and altogether a good experience, thanks to the staff.
Excellent communication, wonderful staff. Excellent care.
