My father has been at the Kingfisher since October. I have found the staff and the home in general very good. The food is to a high standard and there are lots of choices. The chef does a wonderful job. The Christmas party, organised by the entertainment manager, was really lovely. We as a family are
very pleased with the homes manager, the staff and the home in general.

We have just enjoyed an extremely happy Christmas party, attended by residents and their families. The staff continue to be positive and enthusiastic in their work. They treat residents as one of their family and don't seem to treat it as just a job.

I found all the staff to be very caring and approachable. Nothing was too much of an effort. My mum was comfortable with all the staff. The food was of a very high standard and there was always plenty, too much for my mum. I know she enjoyed her stay there and I was very happy with the care she received.

For the short amount of time my dad was a resident of Kingfisher, as a family we could not have been happier with the care he received.
My dad had complex needs, everything was put in place to make him feel comfortable and cared fro. Every member of staff treated us and my dad with kindness and compassion.
I cannot thank the manager and her team enough.

My husband has been in the home now for a couple of months and he's settled in very well. He has been looked after very well. Everyone working there is friendly and helpful making it easier for me (his wife) to leave him there.
He is treated with dignity and kindness ina ll ways.
Everywhere is kept
clean and there is a 'comfortable' atmosphere to the home.

The manager and staff are a wonderful team and help solve any issues immediately. They are caring, attentive, helpful and pay close attention to protecting the dignity of their residents.

Our mum's care and our care as a family, have been fantastic in the Kingfisher Nursing Home.
We have been kept informed over mum's care all the time. The manager and all her staff have been extremely kind to our mum and to us. The staff have made the terrible expereicne of our mum's health more bearable
with their kindness and support. We would definitely recommend the Kingfisher to all. Professional, kind, clean and friendly home. Thank you to all the staff.

Moved from another nursing home. Came to look at home, was made very welcome. My Mum in Law moved here and was made very welcome on arrival. The kindness and care of staff enabled my Mum in Law to settle in very quickly. The Manager has been very accommodating and always welcomes you with a beautiful

Our initial experience was poor with a continuous turnover of staff and poor food and accommodation. Following a CQC visit, the accommodation improved and a refurbishment commenced.


The staff work extremely hard and are kind and caring. The home improved significantly when the current manager was

appointed and she has made a remarkable improvement.

The staff were very good when dad came into the nursing home. The staff are very friendly and have a laugh and joke with dad. The food is very good and have a nice choice. Dad is very happy here and calls his room his home which is nice.

The staff were very good when dad came into the home. They helped him to settle into his new room. The staff are very friendly the food is all cooked by the staff and dad is very happy in his new home. I am so pleased that I got dad into Kingfisher.

Thank you to the Kingfisher Nursing Home team. It was a very stressful time moving our mother to her new home at Kingfisher but the stress was very much eased by the wonderful and caring staff. The team at Kingfisher demonstrate both professional and caring skills with a very positive attitude. Our
mother has her hair done weekly and her personal care keeps her looking beautiful, the team take their time out to be very friendly.
