The constant changing of staff since he has been there (two and a half years) is very unsettling for my father. His room decoration and furniture is very old and 'tired' (with an old and stained carpet, which seems a bad choice for floor covering in a nursing home anyway). There is also not much stimulation
apart from 'parking' the residents in front of a television.

There has been a large turnover of staff which is unsettling for the residents. Do not seem to take into account my father's hard of hearing when speaking to him.

Very welcoming, carers and staff polite and friendly. My friend said the manager of the home and the cleaner was very nice and he feels happy to be here. The home is clean and tidy and the atmosphere is relaxed and homely. Also, they have lots of entertainment involving friends and relatives.

I feel that since the manager has taken charge, the home and facilities have improved tremendously. I am so pleased that my step mum is happier and more contented. Well done to what she has achieved in such a short period of time!

My family and I are very appreciative of the kindness shown to my mother. She has been treated with care and dignity. The management and staff have been extremely professional and efficient and have made this difficult transition for my mother as smooth as possible.

My mum originally came in for respite whilst my husband and I went on holiday, only for 3 weeks, she loved it from the off and then decided to stay for another week. During that time she decided for herself that this was the place she needed to be to help her with her poor mobility and personal care.
All the staff made her feel so welcome and at home immediately. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support everyone has given her.
