A dear relative of mine was a resident from 2024 until she passed away this year.
The care and love she received from everyone at Osbourne Court was exemplary.
The team there constantly explore new ways to enhance enjoyment and interest for their residents - with much success!

They also provide an excellent support network for the family, keeping them well informed at all times either personally or via relatives group meetings.

The staff are amazing, so friendly, helpful and especially caring towards the residents. Some sad and funny things do happen along with the day to day routines, which happens in family life... all the staff take it in their stride. This really is a lovely place. Can't praise the staff enough. Thank you Osbourne Court for caring for Mum

Mum was not able to look after herself at home, but in the care home she has received great care. The care home has all mod cons, is always clean and tidy. The staff are all very professional and friendly, and take great care of mum. She receives great food, plenty of cups of tea, and has plenty of people to chat to.

It was the right decision to place her in a home, and the right home for her.

The building has been newly decorated and to a lovely standard so this really helped settle mum and give our family comfort in her care and her surroundings. All staff have been lovely and are helping mum in all her needs. A very big thank you personally to Rachel, Esher and Jo who have been a massive help for me and have released a huge weight from me personally with their love, care and understanding. Thank you ladies you've been a breath of fresh air

My mother has been in Osbourne Court since May 2024. The service provided is outstanding, mum loves living at Osbourne Court. I feel happy knowing mum is living there as she is safe and well looked after. The manager and staff are brilliant and always there to answer any questions. I couldn't ask for a better home for my mum to live in.

Mum has now celebrated her 100th birthday at Osbourne Court. We had a large family gathering, and we were able to use the newly refurbished lounge for ourselves. Mum had a great time, and all the family felt welcome. She has settled in well. I take her out in her wheelchair, when the weather allows, around the town. She likes to have company and will mostly join in the activities.

My father was moved to Osbourne Court earlier in 2025, due to his previous care home being inadequate to his needs. I feel our family was gaslighted by the previous care home, making my father out to be the problem, when in actual fact it was the Home who kept him imprisoned in his room and not prepared to help him back onto his feet. Osbourne Court on the other hand gave him a massive welcome, put their metaphorical arms around him and got him back on his feet on his very first day. He has flourished and his mental and physical health has settled. All of the personnel have kindness and care at the heart of their work and my father said only a few days ago - "everyone is lovely here"

Dad has just had a tremendous Christmas in Osbourne Court. The care has not dropped and the thoughtful way that the team has planned for and carried off a Christmas which makes residents feel part of a large family is exemplary. Little details make the difference: the Christmas activities throughout December have kept him busy. Then on the big day; presents under the tree - a lifeline for those residents with no family members to visit - were enjoyed by all; and chef Robbie's Christmas dinner felt like home cooking at its best. Getting the atmosphere right at a time when most residents would want to be in their own home with loving family members around them, is an extension of their normal day-to-day care. On Boxing Day Dad said, 'I feel wanted'! What an accolade! I couldn't recommend Osbourne Court highly enough.

Mum moved into Osbourne Court in September of 2024 so has been there just under a year.
Mum is a very independent person and taking the step to move into a care facility was not easy
for her. From day one Mum and our family received a warm, caring and friendly welcome from all of the staff
at Osbourne Court. Mum has settled in well and has now made new friends with other
residents, she often says how well she is looked after and how happy she is there. Mum's
mental and physical health has improved dramatically since she started living at Osbourne
Court. We are always notified of anything going on with Mum and we always receive an
answer to any questions or concerns we have about Mum. The Osbourne Court team is a
happy one that works well together and it is reflected in the care they give to their residents.

The peace of mind we have knowing that Mum is in such good hands is priceless.

From the moment my mum moved into Osbourne Court, I knew she was in the right place. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of life. Every member of staff goes above and beyond to make residents feel safe, cared for, and valued. It's clear that they don't just see it as a job.
The home itself is beautifully kept, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely, homely feel. There's always something going on activities, laughter, and friendly conversation and my mum has settled in far quicker than I could have imagined. She's eating well, smiling more and truly feels like part of the community. The staff are nothing short of amazing. They take time to understand each resident's needs, preferences, and personality, everyone is treated with patience, dignity and kindness. Communication with families is excellent.
Knowing mum is in safe and loving hands is priceless. Osbourne Court is more than just a care home, it's a home full of heart.

Thank you

First visit in August, this time was around 10am. We found dad in the lounge in a wheel chair asleep and we did manage to wake him and over about 30 minutes we managed to get some interaction. During our time a staff member made him a cup of tea. My wife then cut his finger nails and checked his hearing aid batteries.

We did visit his room to check on toiletries and to drop of a sensor floor mat, which we had been informed we needed to buy as the one he had been using was broken and had only been lent to him. We also donated a bag of DVDs for the residents, both these items were left in his room and a member of staff informed.

Mum became a resident in May25, and I became a Daughter again. Having been caring for Mum with her progressing dementia, we lost that relationship, and both of us felt alone and lost in it all. Osbourne Court and the wonderful staff are amazing, cannot express my gratitude enough. Mum has a fuller life, eating, sleeping better, and round the clock care and security, giving me peace of mind. Never an easy decision to make, moving a loved one into a home, but this has been best for Mum and my family. So be strong, pick up the phone and book a viewing, hope my review helps you on this path, all the best.

My mother was in residential care at Osbourne Court in Baldock from November 2024 - May 2025. Mum was in the best of care to support her advanced dementia/Alzheimer's & elderly aging medical needs.

The B&M Rose Model approach with individual care was incredibly supportive to Mum with her daily routine. Mum's overall residential experience was a happy one, she spoke about it often as the right place for her to be, expressed with a very big smile! Mum enjoyed making new acquaintances with other residents & "friendship buddies" with her carers. Exceptional managers offered informational guidance & support with administrative matters & relevant care concerns. It was reassuring my mother received invaluable quality care by professionally experienced, knowledgeable & kind-hearted caregivers and managers.

My elderly friend resided here for many years and was look after very well by the staff. I was always informed by the staff of any concerns that they had regarding my friend. It's a lovely care home which is undergoing current renovations which have made it look very luxurious and outside areas have been upgraded with outdoor furniture and shaded sitting areas. I was very happy knowing my friend was safe and secure here which meant alot to me.
