There is a warm and friendly atmosphere when you walk in. The home is well managed and the staff are patient, kind and sympathetic towards the residents. My mum has been there for over 4 years and has been very happy. I cannot fault the care and attention she is receiving.

Montrose is a very well run establishment and the staff are of the highest calibre you could find. My whole family have nothing but praise for the entire staff as they are exceedingly professional and are for all residents as if they were their family.
I would recommend the home to anyone as the quality
of care in my opinion is exceptional.

I was ringing around looking for emergency respite care for my 81-year-old Father who has dementia. Montrose rang me back immediately and over the last week every member of staff I have met has been incredibly knowledgeable and caring. The home, lounges and bedrooms are modern and homely, and while
I am yet to taste the food it looks great.
We have gone from a weeks respite to looking and planning for long-term care at Montrose.

My aunt who is 95 years old needed respite care following several weeks in hospital with a fractured hip. I had already seen the website for Montrose when another family member needed care but unfortunately died before she could leave hospital. When I visited Monstrose I was very impressed by the staff
and the premises, very well equipped and modern.
My aunt has spent a couple of months there and has been very well fed and cared for and will now be going home at the end of October.

We are very happy with the care provided for my nan. The staff make a real effort to ensure all the residents are included in daily activities.
The rooms are very homely, my nan is very happy here.
Nan says the food is lovely and enjoys plenty of snacks while watching her fave soaps!

My mother has been in this home for close on four years. My sister and I looked at some 9 homes before deciding on Montrose. Mum was in respite prior to this at various places for a few months, I work in the community as a dementia ambassador and visit other homes in the area regularly. I wouldn't want
my mum to be in a home anywhere else but Montrose.

Since joining B&M Care in April 2024 as Home Manager at Montrose Care Home, I have been committed to delivering excellent person-centred care and fostering a positive culture where both residents and employees can thrive. Having worked for my previous health and social care provider for 25 years in various roles, B&M Care caught my attention with its values and ethos, aligning perfectly with my passion for continuous learning and development.


As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, I continue my own personal and professional growth while holding a Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care qualification. This allows me to share my knowledge and experience with others, empowering them to make informed decisions.
