Friendly and active home. The staff and joe are very caring and always have something for the residents to do. The activies keep the resident engaged and active. Well done to the team at Montrose. Keep up the good work. Felicity

I can't praise Montrose highly enough. Caring staff, comfortable rooms, good food, lovely garden area to sit in and very clean and well maintained rooms to socialise in. The entertainment manager is excellent. So many activities arranged from visiting musicians and singers, to outings, artwork classes, pub visits and walks. My friend has settled well and is very happy there.

My Sister has only recently moved into Montrose Care Home, but she seems to be happy there and settled in fairly well. The staff are always friendly and helpful and provide excellent care. I would recommend Montrose to anyone seeking an excellent care home.

My experience has been nothing but faultless concerning the care of my father. From the facilities to the care givers, to the activities programme provided. Excellence is a word given to often when unwarranted but in the case of this care home is totally justified.

The staff are always welcoming, hard working and professional. I am kept informed of situations when things arise, the facilities are fantastic and my dad is happy and very well taken care of. Thank you

My Mother has recently moved into Montrose, she has settled in very well thanks to the amazing staff. They are very friendly and always willing to help, nothing is to much trouble would highly recommend.

My husband has been in this care home for over a year now. I take him out once a week, and he always seems happy. They have plenty of activities to keep him busy, which he really enjoys. The staff are very caring and have plenty of patience. It puts my mind at rest that I don't have to worry about him.

I strongly recommend Montrose care home for anyone interested in leaving their loved one in an excellent care.

My Mum moved into Montrose care home in Watford over two years ago, at first she struggled making the move from her own home. She had always said she would never go into a care home. The kind and supportive care team have gone above and beyond to help her settle in. Fantastic care is always given, although my mum is now bed-bound, she is always wonderfully presented when family visit.

My care was good, people were nice, friendly, and I liked staying there.

My mother settled into Montrose very quickly. She had previously been unhappy and anxious but since moving into Montrose she is happy and much more contended. She is eating better than she has for ages she really enjoys the food. He room is lovely and comfortable. She can have privacy or go to the lounge to mix with other residents. The staff are friendly and caring. My mother initially moved in for respite care but she is so happy at Montrose she is now staying permanently.

All the Carers who are part of dad's team and overall at Montrose are excellent. We can't thank you enough.

My mother has been in Montrose care home for about 2 11 years now. I feel she has been well cared for with kindness shown by all staff. Luckily as a family, we are able to visit regularly and any problem is addressed and resolved quickly and efficiently. The home is always clean and warm, which is reassuring. My mum feels safe in the common areas, as apposed to her room and sometimes feels the carers are hard to reach when near.

My aunt has been in Montrose fr about 10 years and is very happy there, and says she doesn't feel lonely living on her own anymore. The staff look after her very well. for her 100th Birthday they arranged a party and an entertainer. The entertainment is very good and the staff very friendly.

My mother has been a resident for almost six years. During that time she has been looked after by many different carers, all of whom have treated her with courtesy and respect. Her health has deteriorated and she is no longer mobile, but every effort is made by the staff to cater to her needs. She has never wanted to join in the many excellent activities other than the cinema, which she enjoys and looks forward to. I have always been impressed by the standard of care at Montrose and the friendliness of the staff.

Staff were very helpful, friednly, caring and efficient. Excellent all around, there is nothing more to say.

Our aunt moved into Montrose Care Home in November 2023. She wasn't too keen on the idea of moving into a home permanently but she had broken both her hips and was 94! She is now so happy that she moved in and is looking healthier. We have found all the staff to be friendly and caring. She loves that there are activities she could join in with but doesn't feel pressured to. We would definitely recommend the home to anyone looking.

Although I lost my mum two years ago, I still visit her friend there, that says it all!

My mum has been at Montrose Care Home for over a year now. I am a big fan of Montrose. My mum was no longer safe to live at home. We had tried having carers come in to her home and it just wasn't working. I was so lucky that I found Montrose. They really pulled out all the stops to help get my mum in for respite care to begin with. What a difference from the first day. They put my mind at rest and were able to deal with my mum in the most professional way. I know it can be really challenging at times but they are so experienced, professional and nothing will phase them. There is a really homely feel to Montrose. Staff and residents are relaxed and friendly. I feel blessed that I know when my mum is being cared for at Montrose. There's always a cheery face bringing her a cup of tea, remembering her medications, bringing her meals and snacks and so much more. There are special days too like the beautiful care they took to mark my mum's birthday. She really felt special.
