Everything is to a very high standard, the staff are always very helpful even in very trying situations. Communications between staff and visitors are cordial though at times the staff can be very busy. Rooms tend to be fairly large and airy, cleaning is an ongoing activity day and night. Various activities are available to residents if they're able enough and also days out during the summer months. The establishment is very well run and organised, any problems and enquiries are dealt with very quickly. It is a pleasant and secure environment and people feel at home there.

This is a first rate nursing home. My mother has dementia and has been a resident for 3 years. The team at the home are all caring, kind and respectful. They have provided excellent care and continue to do so. I am confident that my mother is happy and safe at the home and I would thoroughly recommend it. The home is very clean, the food is good and visitors are welcomed at any time of day. There are also numerous, meaningful activities for residents.

Meet the Team (1)

Alison Gray
Alison GrayJob Title:Home Manager

I have a deep passion for providing quality care and always encourage feedback from our residents, their loved ones, and our colleagues.

This helps us continually strive to be the best we can be by understanding the needs and wishes of everyone we encounter.

Aside from the beautiful location, what initially drew me to Solent Grange was the warm and welcoming atmosphere that permeates the home. Our dedicated team consistently goes above and beyond to promote a person-centred service, actively seeking opportunities to incorporate innovative ideas that benefit those we care for. I am particularly proud of the busy activities programme we offer, and I find great joy in seeing the positive effects this has on both our residents and colleagues.

At Solent Grange, we can offer bespoke care packages tailored to your needs, both now and in the future. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to learn more about the services we provide or to arrange a tour of our lovely home.
