Beechcare Care Home is located in the village of Darenth in Kent. The home is easily accessible to shops, amenities and public transport. Darenth is convenient for the M25 motorway and is just two miles from Dartford.

Beechcare provides permanent and short-term respite care for those with nursing needs 24 hours a day. The team work closely with a GP who visits the home weekly to make sure all medical needs are well managed - Beechcare also has close relationships with dietitians, speech and language therapists and other healthcare professionals.

The home is situated in a rural setting with secluded grounds where residents can enjoy the countryside views and wildlife which visit the gardens. Inside, there are light and spacious areas for residents to relax and socialise in.

All bedrooms at Beechcare are single with en-suite toilet and shower facilities. Residents are able to personalise their rooms to ensure they stay as familiar and as comfortable as possible.

What an absolute joy Beechcare care home is. This was one of the hardest things I have had to do, but Beechcare made it so easy to put my husband in care. The whole place, people environment is outstanding. I didn't know places as good as this existed. It has just brought out the best in my husband.
He is so occupied and looked after and so happy. The staff are just absolute angels. This is truly a place where magic happens I just can't thank them enough.

It was amazing to have my mother in this home, a home that is one in a million a home that is passionate, caring and peaceful, the staff are exceptional, very caring, full of empathy, diligent on their, very approachable, respectful. This home is like coming to visit my family. Whenever I come they offer me a hot meal and drinks. My husband has been here for six months and he is always cared for as if he's the staff's own parents. He's always well kept, clean and tidy and the staff love him like myself.

Dedicated staff give the best care they are able to. Facilities could be improved with some more private areas for group meetings/family/assessments. Need more tea rounds, need sweetcorn! Unknown value for money, as I do not know how much is paid by NHS.

My son is very well looked after. All the staff do their best and treat residents as individuals. The environment is always clean and welcoming. Time is taken to enable residents to take part in and enjoy activities. Activities are frequent and varied. Relatives and friends are encouraged with open
visiting. It makes such a difference knowing that your loved one is cared for in such a caring environment.

The home is excellent now. The staff are caring and always polite and friendly. The management are very approachable if any problems or queries do arise. The activity team are brilliant and constantly coming up with new ideas. The food has improved vastly over the past few months too.

Mum has lived at Beechcare Care Home for four years.
The last year has greatly improved. The home is clean and decorated to high standards.
The staff look after Mum's physical and emotional needs and above all, she is settled and happy.
The management is very approachable and staff are always willing
to help and they seem happy in their job role.

The home provide excellent care to my mum throughout her time here. The staff are responsive, polite, respectful and caring. They value her views, opinions and always act within her best interest. The home has recently been redecorated to suit all residents' needs and requests. The activity team work

I was anxious when we moved our son there, wondering if we were making the right decision for him but can honestly say I can not fault the loving care and respect towards him. In himself, he does seem so much happier which makes it easier for our family, and dealing with a brain injury resident certainly
isn't an easy task either. Each and every one of them has got my utmost respect for the care they show my son, and I can't thank them enough.

We were so fortunate that my wife was cared for in this care home. After her stroke left her totally incapacitated, she needed continual and understanding care, and this she got and more. I cannot thank everyone at Beechcare enough, they were brilliant! Thank you!

My son, a resident in the care home for nearly three months now, where we visit him daily (11:00-18:00 hours), we believe that he is receiving good care. The nurses and carers are looking after him very well and are always available should he need any assistance. The nurses are heavily committed as
he still needs regular suctioning. He is on peg feeding, so I have no comments about it. Overall, good to very good.

The care in this home is brilliant. The temporary manager is welcoming and approachable. The home is set on stunning grounds and there has been a wealth of improvements since the company changed. Thanks so much to all the staff that look after my brother at Beechcare.

My sister was in the home for three years being a very difficult time for the whole family due to her deteriorating dementia. The home couldn’t have been more supportive with Covid not even creating a major obstacle. The home is in a beautiful area and thank you Beechcare staff for the amazing care

Beechcare Care Home is an excellent home. I did a lot of research before choosing Beechcare and consulted friends in the healthcare industry for their opinion and I am very happy with my choice. My Dad is always clean, tidy, well-kempt, alert, content, he never presents with anything that would cause
concern. When he arrived from hospital, he was so sick that I didn't think he'd make it to Christmas, so it is a testament to the staff that he is still here two years later. Thank you for everything that you do for him.
