Beechcare Care Home is located in the village of Darenth in Kent. The home is easily accessible to shops, amenities and public transport. Darenth is convenient for the M25 motorway and is just two miles from Dartford.

Beechcare provides permanent and short-term respite care for those with nursing needs 24 hours a day. The team work closely with a GP who visits the home weekly to make sure all medical needs are well managed - Beechcare also has close relationships with dietitians, speech and language therapists and other healthcare professionals.

The home is situated in a rural setting with secluded grounds where residents can enjoy the countryside views and wildlife which visit the gardens. Inside, there are light and spacious areas for residents to relax and socialise in.

All bedrooms at Beechcare are single with en-suite toilet and shower facilities. Residents are able to personalise their rooms to ensure they stay as familiar and as comfortable as possible.

My father was hospitalised and we were advised that he would not be able to return to his previous care home as he required nursing care. We researched several homes within the local area and after several visits, we decided that the Four Seasons Beechcare Home was our favourite choice.
From the outset,
we have received the most professional, prompt and most importantly, caring levels of service.
My father is now 'home' and we could not be happier to know that he will be cared for as if he was living with us.

My son has been a resident of Peter Gidney Neurological Care Unit in Beechcare for approximately eight months. Due to the care he has received, there has been a significant improvement in his awareness and although limited, he can now communicate by the use of visual cards. All the staff at the centre
are very caring and support our son whenever help is needed.

My mum might only have been in Beechcare for a short while but your attitude and care towards her will never be forgotten. As a family, we struggled to come to terms with not caring for mum ourselves until she was moved to you. We very quickly realised that there is a true care home that actually wants
the best for their residents.
You should be very proud of the staff that you have and the way your care home is managed, we now know the difference between a business and a care home, your residents are looked after and cared for with such dedication and compassion and this is truly a wonderful thing to see. It is one of the hardest professions to be in as far as we are concerned but your staff never lost sight of bringing a caring human side to their work.
We will miss our visits as we were starting to get to know many of the residents and we will miss them as much as anything.

I have very little experience of care homes but find Beechcare Care Home more than satisfactory. The main drawback is that management has to use agency staff at times who have no knowledge of my mother and her requirements. Agency staff service is poor and is required too frequently. A new manager is
in place and I hope for improvement.

My mother-in-law has been in this care home for the past 2 years.
We are very pleased with the care given and the facilities available. We have had a few occasions when we were a little unhappy but these have been promptly sorted out to our satisfaction.
I would certainly recommend this care home

We are so pleased with the kind people who are taking care of our Mum. They are so helpful and nothing is too much for them. The home is so clean! The food is very varied and looks fabulous. There are lots of different activities for the people living here to do.

My first impression of Beechcare is of well-maintained grounds and a welcoming entrance and friendly atmosphere. The running of the home is most efficient and every member of staff is always ready to help you with a smile. The staff are very caring spending a lot of time with residents. They have endless
patience. I am most impressed by the cleanliness of carpets and also the cream lounge chairs. Food is prepared fresh each day again by pleasant staff who cater for resident's tastes and dislikes. There is a choice of menu and should a resident be off colour staff will do their best to tempt them to eat something. There are varied activities most days enjoyed by the residents. The laundry service is excellent. It is a truly caring home making sure its residents are as happy, well and comfortable as possible.

My friend, is well looked after and very comfortable at Beechcare, all her need are taken care of by the very friendly team of carers.
The care home is always very clean when I visit and there is always something of interest to stimulate the residents, i.e. making cakes or playing armchair bowls
and many more activities.

My first impression was that the home did not smell at all. The whole building is light and airy. My uncle was there for several weeks for "end of life care" so I feel as though I go to know all the staff, nurses, carers, kitchen staff etc. Although always extremely busy and hard working they always
had time for the patients and their relatives. I noticed the residents were always clean and well dressed. Care was taken to make sure residents only wore their own clothes. The kitchen open for anyone to see. It is immaculate as is the dining room. Care is taken every day to lay the tables properly serviettes etc. Some staff arrange the activities and several things were arranged each week, craft, singing, plays etc, so residents do not have to either stay in their rooms or be placed in a chair.

On arrival from the hospital, my husband was looked after very well by all the staff and I have no complaints whatsoever.
As my husband could only use his left hand because the rest of his body was becoming immobile, the carers were kept busy through the day and night and I will never be able to thank
them enough.
My husband died on 20th September 2016.
