The staff were unfailingly kind, pleasant, friendly and helpful
One reads of care homes which do not 'come up to scratch', but Hythe View is emphatically not one of them.
We were disappointed to read the comments made by one of our longest standing residents, which we feel are quite unfair and do not reflect the hard work and attention to detail that goes into the work that we do. All of our staff work extremely hard to provide high standards of care for our frail elderly residents, which is amply demonstrated by the many positive reviews we receive.
We openly welcome suggestions for improvements from all those using or visiting our services and we will of course discuss the issues raised by our resident and make adjustments where practical.

My name is Dan and I am the Home Administrator at Hythe View, I joined the company in April 2022 after a decade in the travel industry including stints as cabin crew and a Commercial Manager for a tour operator. I had the opportunity to travel extensively but these days, I’m much happier with my feet on my ground as I’m dad to two boys and a dog!
When I was a child, my grandma would often take me to the care home where she worked. When I as a teenager my Mum went to University and trained to become a Nurse. During the COVID-19 Pandemic I worked as a carer and realised how hard but rewarding care work is. I’m so happy to be a part of the team here at Hythe View.
