My grandma appears to be more settled now after the first week or two of her stay. Good communication from staff although a little slow getting her medication sorted and update from previous GP post hospital discharge. My grandma appears to be well looked after in her appearance and well fed with good
fluids being taken on. It feels quite early to go to bed/room at 6pm so would welcome some flexibility to this and also the ability to allow her to walk with Zimmer aid support as opposed to always in a wheelchair. Excellent activities available and good feedback from the activities coordinator.

We pop in often after school and often take part in the activities. The coordinator is fantastic and treats the resident with respect and dignity. The rooms are clean and spacious and the other residents seem very happy and settled. We enjoy our visits and I would recommend highly.

My friends and I regularly visit this care home and we enjoy doing so. Every week there is a different activity going on which both residents and visitors can interact with. The Activities coordinator creates a lovely atmosphere, making our visits pleasant. The patients always have a drink at hand.

I have always found that my mother is well cared for and comfortable. The main thing that is so good is the staff who are very caring and professional. Although staff are always encouraging residents to take part in activities, there is no pressure to do so and they are always as helpful as possible.

Mother-in-law has only recently been moved into Warwick Park as suffering from dementia, was no longer able to live on her own. We were all made very welcome from the moment we arrived.
Although her room is a little tired, we know she is safe and the staff have all been very helpful and seem well trained.
All the residents look happy and well cared for, with lots of activities organised.

My first visit to Warwick Park Care Home as I had seen pictures of my friend's mum on Facebook and wanted to see her for real. Very happy to see what the residents are up to on social media for those that don't get to visit regularly.
Nice cuppa and cake when visiting too.

Since my mother has been in Warwick Park I have been very impressed with the genuine caring nature of all the staff, nurses, carers etc.
You can tell that they mean it with their caring nature.
The activities coordinator is a breath of fresh air.
She brightens up the residents' days with all the
activities and visiting helpers with a theme almost every day.
I am very happy that we chose Warwick Park as mum's new home.

I greatly enjoy visiting Warwick Park Care Home.
As well as the friend I visit, I chat to all the other residents - they are all well presented and cared for.
Carers are very much in evidence at all times and the activity coordinator displays great enthusiasm and warmth; they all respond very well
to her.

After much soul searching it was a great relief to find a warm welcome at a price we could afford.
Whilst the age of the property has obviously made the area quite difficult for mobility without help it has a good feel. The staff and care provided are the best I have encountered during visits to respite
and possible permanent care and I feel confident that my husband is safe.

My mother has been at Warwick Park since March 2018. Her health has been deteriorating over the past few years so she is now bedridden. The care and nursing provided is very good, her food is pureed and she is fed by the carer. From what I have seen she is well treated and the carers try to interact
with her.

My mother in law has recently left her flat in London as she is on oxygen, has various medical conditions and needs 24 hour nursing care.
After just three weeks she is still upset at leaving her home but still has the option to return after six weeks. This is very difficult both for her and the family,
including four daughters who regularly visit. However, the staff are well aware of this and provide constant care, attention and understanding to keep her as happy as possible.

My relative receives care which takes into account her personal needs and wishes. She is known by her carers who have got to know her and her likes and dislikes.
The trained nurses are always ready to chat about my relative's care when I wish to speak to them.
The activities are varied and tailored
to individuals needs, including music, crafts and outings.
Resident's food preferences are also taken into account.
The nurses and carers keep records of my relative's food and fluid intake and any health issues.

Current Review Score: 9.2 (9.174)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.174) out of 10 for Warwick Park Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.893 for Warwick Park Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (50 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 56 Ratings = 4.893
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.281 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Warwick Park Care Home is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 32 registered maximum number of service users is 6.4. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 6.4 = 0.781
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
