I have worked in healthcare for over a decade and have been a registered nurse since 2007. Have a vast experience in different nursing departments.
Being part of MG Homes, I and our multi-disciplinary team of nurses, carers, domestic, and kitchen staff, will work together in order to deliver the best person-centred care to those we support.
I have been part of the MG Homes team since 2014. I started as a registered nurse, in 2016 I was promoted to deputy manager and in 2018 I was promoted to manager.
I have worked in the Healthcare sector since 2011. I started as a care assistant, then progressed into care co-ordinator, field care supervisor and now HR administrator at MG Homes.
I joined MG Homes to expand my knowledge of the care sector within the administration field of the Head Office. I get great fulfilment in supporting our staff, relatives and residents throughout the longevity of their stay with us.
I have been working at MG Homes for 3 years. My role as Activities Coordinator is varied and life-affirming. I have gathered a wealth of wisdom that people have generously shared with me, and I continue to learn as I accompany individuals. I'm very fortunate that my job allows me to take time to be with people and that's what I love about my job.
My greatest point of pride is Warwick Park being recognised for great and memorable activities and events.
Whether it's Valentine's Day, Halloween or a summer festival, we throw a good party to bring out the beautiful smiles of our residents and families! I am proud to have organised the events and see how engaged everyone is each time!
I love my job because it feels like a family, and I love making a difference to the people who call Warwick Park Care Home their home. My biggest achievement so far is that within six months I became the Head of Housekeeping.
I have been working for MG Homes for about 6 months and have over 40 years of experience in the facilities field. My experience as a facilities manager in the NHS for 18 years has brought me here to gain more experience.
I like how different my job is every day. The working environment is really good and I enjoy making the days of our residents and staff brighter.
I moved back from Wales over ten years ago and wanted to get a job so I could use my property maintenance skills. For 10 years I worked as a Maintenance Manager at MG Homes. I love my job; it gets me involved with the residents and I am happy to contribute to their well-being by keeping their rooms nice and tidy.
My best achievement so far is receiving compliments from residents and their families about the appearance of both homes, communal areas and residents' bedrooms. I have recently moved into the position of Facilities Administrator, and there is a lot of administrative work behind the maintenance. I continue to enjoy my work and improving the lives of residents.
