I greatly enjoy visiting Warwick Park Care Home.
As well as the friend I visit, I chat to all the other residents - they are all well presented and cared for.

Carers are very much in evidence at all times and the activity coordinator displays great enthusiasm and warmth; they all respond very well to her.

After much soul searching it was a great relief to find a warm welcome at a price we could afford.

Whilst the age of the property has obviously made the area quite difficult for mobility without help it has a good feel. The staff and care provided are the best I have encountered during visits to respite and possible permanent care and I feel confident that my husband is safe.

My mother has been at Warwick Park since March 2018. Her health has been deteriorating over the past few years so she is now bedridden. The care and nursing provided is very good, her food is pureed and she is fed by the carer. From what I have seen she is well treated and the carers try to interact with her.

My mother in law has recently left her flat in London as she is on oxygen, has various medical conditions and needs 24 hour nursing care.

After just three weeks she is still upset at leaving her home but still has the option to return after six weeks. This is very difficult both for her and the family, including four daughters who regularly visit. However, the staff are well aware of this and provide constant care, attention and understanding to keep her as happy as possible.

My relative receives care which takes into account her personal needs and wishes. She is known by her carers who have got to know her and her likes and dislikes.
The trained nurses are always ready to chat about my relative's care when I wish to speak to them.
The activities are varied and tailored to individuals needs, including music, crafts and outings.
Resident's food preferences are also taken into account.

The nurses and carers keep records of my relative's food and fluid intake and any health issues.

The care that has been given to my uncle has been cheerful, considerate and caring.
He is kept clean and happy.
He was so unhappy in his first home he smashed the home up, but here he is very content and is well fed.

They also manage his Parkinson's very well and are good with his wife who visits him.

The home seems to provide a good standard of care and support for its patrons.

I have certainly seen an increase in the standard of living for my grandmother while she has been here in comparison to her previous lodgings.

I have been very impressed by the condition of the residents and all the staff, they are very attentive and always address my husband by his first name. They have a chat and are always cheerful.

He is spotlessly clean with fresh clothes every day. He is helped with his meals and always has fresh drinking water. I try to visit most days and am always most welcomed.

I have been visiting my friend for over 3 years now and she has always received kind and helpful support from the friendly staff. The new rooms are light and airy and the new lounge looks out onto the garden. Thank you to all the staff who do a grand job looking after my friend. I do appreciate all your hard work, which can't be easy at times. Please continue with your patience and good care - you are valued, all of you.

The care home is so lovely and staff are so friendly and very helpful. My mother-in-law is looked after so well. Due to having sight loss myself staff have been so kind to pick me up near my home and bring me to see my mother-in-law and have kindly taken me back to my bus stop for me to get back home. I am very happy with all the care they are given my mother-in-law. I highly recommend this home to anyone, it's lovely and thank you all for your help and kindness looking after her.

I have been a nurse for almost 20 years, and throughout my journey, I have gained experience across many areas of care. However, my heart has always been with palliative and end-of-life care. It is a privilege to support individuals and their families during such meaningful moments, ensuring comfort, dignity, and compassion every step of the way.

I am proud to be part of our home’s family. Each day, I am inspired by the dedication of every department working together with a shared purpose: to make sure our residents are well cared for, safe, and truly loved. I am committed to supporting the continued growth of our home and to helping ensure that we provide the warmth, respect, and high-quality care our residents deserve.

I have been working at MG Homes since 2020. My role as Activities Coordinator is varied and life-affirming. I have gathered a wealth of wisdom that people have generously shared with me, and I continue to learn as I accompany individuals. I'm very fortunate that my job allows me to spend time with people, and that's what I love about my job.

My greatest point of pride is that both homes are recognised for great and memorable activities and events.

Whether it's Valentine's Day, Halloween or a summer festival, we throw a good party to bring out the beautiful smiles of our residents and families! I am proud to have organised the events and see how engaged everyone is each time!

I’ve always believed that food is one of the simplest ways to show care. Paul Kennard
Paul KennardJob Title:Facilities AdministratorJoined: 2013

I moved back from Wales over ten years ago and wanted to get a job so I could use my property maintenance skills. For 10 years, I worked as a Maintenance Manager at MG Homes. I love my job; it gets me involved with the residents, and I am happy to contribute to their well-being by keeping their rooms nice and tidy.

My best achievement so far is receiving compliments from residents and their families about the appearance of both homes, communal areas and residents' bedrooms. I have recently moved into the position of Facilities Administrator, and there is a lot of administrative work behind the maintenance. I continue to enjoy my work and improving the lives of residents.
