Copper Beeches Care Home

Cannot explain how pleased we are that our mum is looked after at Copper Beeches Care Home. All the staff are so caring and go above and beyond to make sure Mum is okay. Copper Beeches is like a family and I'd 100% recommend it.

Copper Beeches Care Home is proving to be a wonderful home for my uncle. The manager is very happy and friendly and interacts with all the residents. Staff are very friendly and caring and extremely hardworking. Food is amazing and plentiful. Cleaners are continually cleaning and keeping the place looking fresh and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Friendly staff - kind and welcoming to visitors. Copper Beeches is a clean and happy care home. Staff treat residents kindly and cheerfully. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Copper Beeches to anyone who asks my opinion.

We have recommended Copper Beeches to my uncle and his wife for her mother. To my knowledge, they are actually visiting tomorrow.

I/We feel my mother is cared for in a compassionate and dignified manner. Staff are helpful and friendly and make the experience generally easier overall.

From the outset, all staff and management have been brilliant. They don't mind what questions we have asked and I know they have my mum's best interest at heart.

Both staff and management are welcoming and supportive. They go to great lengths to work with relatives and residents to provide a personalised and extensive level of care. I feel assured that they are providing a great level of care to my husband now that he is in the last stage of Alzheimer's.

Copper Beeches Care Home is looking after my 92-year-old aunt, who has dementia, with wonderful care and attention. She is very well looked after.

The staff here have coped amazingly well throughout Covid. The staff are caring and hardworking, including the activity staff who strive to keep residents happy and stimulated. I know 100% that my mum is happy and well cared for. The staff keep me up to date on anything relating to her medical care.

My husband has been well looked after for ten years by staff at Copper Beeches. The staff are caring and professional. The home has a friendly, family feel about it. It has been very challenging for the staff during the Covid virus, however, they have coped well. I cannot think of a better place for my husband to be.

Staff are welcoming and available and caring for the needs of my relative. Friendly and approachable, perhaps not the 'plushes' of homes I have been involved with but is outweighed by the care revived.

My mum has been here for a year now. It was a difficult decision to make but we are so pleased she came here and is looked after so well with dignity and kindness as she is suffering with dementia.

I have found Copper Beeches Care Home very pleasant to visit my friend. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. My friend is quite mobile, but not able to look after herself safety, so for her, there is little stimulation. Activities are hard to encourage as most residents are in bed. They are trying to introduce more activities which look quite promising. Since leaving the hospital, they have managed my friend's diabetes very well. This has been a problem in other nursing homes. So well done to them.

Whenever I visit Copper Beeches there is always someone about to say good morning and have a chat and ask how you are. They are a very friendly bunch, also the smells that come from the kitchen are lovely. It makes me want to stay for dinner!

The food is excellent but the only downside is the building needs a makeover eg windows and painting to brighten up the place as it can put people off putting their relatives in there as I nearly did myself until I saw how fantastic the staff were.

My uncle sadly passed away at the end of January 2019. He was a resident at Copper Beeches for over 2 years. During his time there he was cared for in a wonderful manner. The staff showed compassion and ensured he was regularly changed and re-positioned in bed. They chatted to him whenever they provided care. Even though he was bed bound there was always someone to spend time with him.

I thank the staff for all the care they provided.

My mother sadly passed away Friday 18th in the early hours and I felt had to write this review about all the wonderful, warm, sensitive, tender, loving and compassionate staff that my mother was privileged to meet and be cared for by.

She felt like she was one in a family rather than in with carers, nurses, chef, cleaners and all that came into my mum's life, words do not seem anywhere near enough to express our gratitude to each and every one of them, not only did they care and and look after mum but my wife and I also felt we were in this unique family.

The staff at Copper Beeches are the most professional body of carers and our eyes it takes a very special person to do this job with ever-changing tasks.

My wife and I can never really thank them enough for their outstanding dedication and for making mum feel at home from home!

So to each and everyone we got to know, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and wish you and all the very best for the future God bless and love to all.
