My mother sadly passed away. The staff were very caring and helpful.
Firstly, I would like to thank all the staff at Frindsbury Hall for a very welcoming and loving environment that my dad received when he first arrived, and that feeling has continued throughout his stay there. All of the staff are kind and helpful and go out of their ways to make my dad feel at home and more importantly, loved. In fact, I would go as far to say, that he is spoilt rotten. He has a lovely side room with lovely big windows that let lots of light in. He can decorate his room with family photos, and they try to accommodate my dad's requests. There are many activities to keep him busy. Thank you.
Thank you for the lovely comments. Your dad is such a lovely man and a big part of our family.
My mother spent three happy years at Frindsbury Hall, and we much appreciated the caring and safe environment that exists in this lovely care home. Mum loved the place, and the staff were so good and worked so hard to make life good for the residents. Mum was five days short of her 98th birthday when she died, and they and help and support from the staff at the home; much appreciated.
Thank you for your positive comments, will share with the staff.
They have kept me up to date on the recent developments on the pandemic, and how this related to my aunt who is a resident. They have kept me in contact when we couldn't visit via modern technology. Especially important when it was my aunt's 102nd Birthday. They always make a fuss when it is her Birthday and make it as happy as they can.
Mum has been a resident now for six months. The care provided has been excellent. During the lockdown, I have been unable to visit, but contact has been maintained via social media and video/telephone calls. Although being bed-bound, boredom has been an issue for Mum despite staffs efforts.
A calm, serene and caring environment.
From the moment Mum went into Frindsbury Hall (at very short notice), she was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Mum thought that all who cared for her were absolutely marvellous and she said so on many occasions before she passed away peacefully recently. The room was nice and felt comfortable and cosy. Mum thought the food choices were good and were executed to a high standard. Cleanliness was very good too, not just in her room, but throughout the home. All staff work hard to create a very caring environment. Could not fault Mum's care. She was very well looked after and it gave her family peace of mind to know this.
The admin, nurses and some of the care staff are excellent with my Mum, they are very welcoming when I visit the nursing home and to know that if I have a problem I can always approach them. The only downfall, in my opinion, is there is not very much in the week for the residents to do other than sit in their rooms all day if there isn't much going on. We take Mum out as much as we can but she seems to be happy there at Frindsbury. One particular member of staff is so caring with Mum, it would be nice if the care staff could spend a little time with the residents. Two particular members of staff always go out of their way to help me and Mum out. Also waiting to get in the main entrance door is very annoying, especially when I have to get Mum back and in a bit of a rush for the school run as sometimes, staff are very busy. Laundry staff and cleaning staff are very lovely too. But all the staff at Frinsbury work hard from what I've seen when I'm there visiting Mum. So happy that my Mum is being cared for by you, it's so lovely seeing her happy.
I felt the staff were patient and caring towards my Mum. Staff always appeared cheerful and although busy they took the time to interact with Mum. When my Mum passed, staff were holding her hands and stroking her hair when my sisters and I arrived. They looked genuinely upset and this was a massive comfort to us.
My mother has stayed here four times. All have been excellent and she has been looked after very well. All the staff from the top to the bottom have been very caring and kind not only to her but me as well. We would both recommend Frindsbury Hall without hesitation.
Thank you
Debbie Mabey
I feel my mum is well cared for and is safe. She has very advanced dual dementia and can no longer recognise anyone or communicate with me or her carers. She has to have her food pureed and fluids thickened which takes time for the carers to feed her which they do without rushing her. The staff are always friendly and keep me well informed.
Communication between staff and us (the family) is very good.
Atmosphere is good. My grandad is happy and safe. Home and staff supportive and interested, treating patients as individuals. Constructive critique; more staff training on importance of oral hygiene and palliative care.
I have been extremely impressed and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. It is a calm, happy environment and one with which I am happy for my mum to spend her final days, years, months.
This home from day 1 has made us feel part of a family. Everyone takes care of my husband 100%.
My mother has been a resident here for 3 years plus. The care given to her has been excellent throughout.
Frindsbury Hall is a wonderful nursing home. Our family is overwhelmed by this service.
Very happy with the day to day care of my mother. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
My mother has been at Frindsbury Hall since April this year and for 96 has settled in well. All the staff from nursing, housekeeping, cooks and office staff are friendly and helpful. The home is well decorated and spacious. They have a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations up for the Residents and all of the staff on today's visit were suitably dressed in Christmas costumes in a happy joyous mood cheering up everyone there. Many thanks to all the staff for the good care in looking after my mother.
We were made very welcome when viewing the home, all questions answered, we decided there and then. Mum was made very comfortable on arrival. All the staff bend over backwards and are all very nice and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Also, the nurses are very good, everything is explained to you medication-wise. Cannot fault the home in any way - brilliant. We know mum is in good hands.
Since my nan has been a resident here we as a family could not be happier. The staff are always so caring to our nan and always greet us beautifully. They are always eager to help us in any way possible. The whole team from; care staff, management, maintenance, kitchen staff and the cleanliness of the whole home is wonderful. Great activities for those wishing to take part, I would truly recommend this caring home to all that are giving it consideration.
I cannot fault the care that my father in law received during his short stay at Frindsbury Hall. He was made extremely comfortable and his needs were dealt with in a caring and friendly manner. Staff would check on him regularly to ensure he was comfortable and the menu which was served suited my father in law's needs.
