Every time I visit my friend the staff are friendly, helpful and approachable.
I visit my Dad frequently and every time I find the staff to be welcoming and cheerful. They work hard to ensure that he is comfortable and his care needs are being met. The home is always clean and the beautiful gardens are well maintained..There is always a good choice of menu at each meal time.I very much appreciate the hard work that all the staff put to make that Dad is safe and settled..

I visit the care home regularly to see my father-in-law. I see at first hand the level of care that he receives, it is always friendly, professional and compassionate. The staff always make time to make sure he is comfortable and safe. In addition, his room is very comfortable as is the home itself. In summary, it's very reassuring to know that he is in a safe environment and is extremely well looked after. Thank you to everyone that contributes to making this happen.

Reception staff were very helpful, as we arrived it was lunch time 12.30pm. We were taken to see my Aunt Dorothy, said hello, and that we would wait in the lounge, see her after they had fininshed. While we waiting there was a paper to read and other, also told to help ourselves to tea, coffee, cold drink and biscuit and cake if we wanted also fruit. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly. Everywhere spotlessly clean.

My mother finally has found somewhere she feels safe and well looked after. She wanted to stay at home but she lost her mobility and was afraid of falling and being alone. Your caring is exceptional. My friend came to The Cotswold Home from the hospital where she had spent 3 weeks. She cold barely walk when she arrived at The Cotswold Home. The excellent care given by the staff and the physiotherapy got her walking confidently round the home and even into the garden. She loved the excellent food and the very sociable meals with a glass of wine at lunch time.

Rares has an established background in care. Originally from Romania, Rares completed degrees in nursing and physiotherapy choosing to focus his career on general hospital nursing. Following his move to the UK in 2014, Rares has built a career in the care home sector and is passionate about creating the best possible environment for those in later life.
Rares is a man of many talents having been a professional footballer at the age of 16 before deciding to take a more academic path and enter university. He has however continued his love of the game, managing a local football team in his home town of Swindon and he is committed to getting involved on a regular basis with the wide range of activities on offer at the home. Rares’s dog Rocco, is now also very much part of home life at The Cotswolds.
