I can not speak highly enough about this care home. My husband is extremely well cared for by all the staff. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I would have no hesitation to recommending this lovely care home.
Thank you for your comments and we appreciate it very much.
The care that I received was excellent. Everybody was very welcoming, friendly, cheerful and professional. I can thoroughly recommend Barchester Hempton Field Care Home for respite care. I felt well looked after, rested and happy after spending a week in their care. Thank you.
Thank you for your great comments we appreciate it.
Extremely helpful! Very pleased.
We appreciate your comments and lovely thoughts. Thank you.
Mum has been happy, comfortable and content in Barchester Hempton Field Care Home despite vowing she'd never go into a home. Her frailty has necessitated the move. All the staff have been so kind and considerate to her and made a difficult time as pleasant as it can be.
Thanks for your kind words and comments, appreciated much.
Considerate staff and very professional.
We are grateful for your feedback and we appreciate it very much.
Warm and welcoming staff.
Thank you so much for the lovely review and we are grateful.
The staff are always lovely with my father. I do sometimes wish they were a bit more insistent on helping, particularly regarding his personal hygiene but I do appreciate he can be difficult and resistant to help. It's good to see he's happy there and says he's well cared for. The food is excellent (we've had lunch there) and there is certainly plenty of it. He is encouraged to join in the activities but often prefers to stay in his room. The home is attractive, well-maintained and clean, although my father's bathroom is a challenge and often smells unpleasant!
We are very grateful for the lovely comments and we will look into the smell that is coming from his bathroom.
We had a couple of meals which were in the dining room which were very enjoyable and enjoyed the afternoon coffees and cake.
Thank you for your comments and grateful, we are here to ensure that we can provide more service to all.
We had a short visit to my sister-in-law. We were welcomed by a friendly greeting. The facilities were clean and tidy. We were provided with an enjoyable 3-course lunch. The staff were approachable, and friendly and treated everyone with respect. We haven't been able to rate all options as we haven't experienced them all.
We are thankful for your comments and we will continue to provide the best service.
I just can't fault the care at Hempton Field. My mother-in-law's respite care was second to none with so much attention paid to her personal needs and wishes. As soon as she mentions something she likes, they try to provide it. She will now stay on a permanent basis and we know she is in safe, caring, friendly hands.
We are very thankful for your comments and we will do our best to continue to provide good care to all.
My aunt is looked after with care and compassion. Her every need is attended to. When I visit the staff are very friendly and always greet with a smile.
We are grateful for your kind words and the team appreciates them.
Very happy with the home. Lovely staff.
Thank you so much with the words for the home and staff.
My friend's eating has been an issue with her but the chefs have always offered her something more suitable. The home is always clean and the dining room reminds me of a quality restaurant!
I do not have any issues with Hempton Field - I feel it is a first-class nursing home with lovely staff.
Thank you.
An efficient, peaceful and very pleasant environment. Light, clean and furnished to the highest standard. Many staff in evidence who are caring, warm hearted and quick to deal with needs and concerns.
Much appreciated for your feedback, me and my team will continue to be warm, caring and keeping them safe.
Thank you to all the staff; you are doing an amazing job.
Dear Claire, thank you very much, and we appreciate much for the review; we will do our best for our residents.
My dad was rushed into the home after heart failure had taken a swift turn for the worse. The whole process of getting him on very short notice was made very easy by the head of the home and staff. Whilst he was only there 3 days before he died, the staff all made his stay a comfortable one. I cannot sing their praises highly enough. The home itself, recently re-furbished, was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen staff and food a delight. Thank you very much for all your efforts.
Thank you for your kind words and they are greatly appreciated.
My family and I are very happy with the care and nursing that my husband is having. All the staff are so pleasant and caring, we are unable to fault it. The refurbishment that has happened over the last few months is quite amazing and I admire your patience while it was happening. Wonderful all around. Thank you.
We are very thankful for your kind words and comments, we are dedicated to giving the best for our residents, relatives and visitors.
Mum has settled in very well, the staff are very friendly and have answered any concerns and worries. The home has been going through a refurbishment and the residents have been treated with great care and consideration. My mother is very happy here and has been given a new lease of life.
We appreciate your comment and we are pleased that your mother is happy.
Hempton Field is a lovely care home with extremely caring, attentive staff. It is a very pleasant environment, with lovely lounges, a dining room and beautiful gardens, including an inner courtyard where residents who are interested are encouraged to nurture the displays they helped create. I am often aware when visiting of well-organised, fun games and activities which lots of residents enjoy taking part in or watching. There's plenty of opportunity to socialise or just sit with others, but equally, there's no pressure if residents prefer quiet days in their rooms. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff, and the food is excellent, with the chef keen to find out any particular preferences or favourites. As always, it's the people who really make a place, and the staff at Hempton are wonderful. It has a family feel, and is well-run, and I would highly recommend it.
It is pleasure to look after your mother and thank you for your kind words for the staff.
My dad took up residence at Hampton in June 2022. He had recently been widowed and was reluctant to go into care. However, within a couple of months, he was suggesting that I should get a room there! In short, he became more outgoing and was extremely happy, made friends and connections with other residents and thoroughly enjoyed the company of all staff. Access to my dad was never a problem (Covid permitting), and I was able to visit anytime along with his great-grandson. In his final days, he was looked after with great dignity and care. I cannot praise the staff a Hampton high enough for the love and care that they gave my dad.
Thank you very much for entrusting your father to us and appreciate your good words.

I am delighted to introduce myself as the General Manager at Hempton Field.
Having spent many years working within Barchester Healthcare, I've had the privilege of growing alongside the organisation and gaining a deep understanding of what truly matters to our residents, their families, and our staff.
Throughout my time at Barchester, I've worked in a variety of roles that have shaped my leadership style and strengthened my commitment to delivering exceptional, person-centred care. I have been a nurse for 41 years, started my career in the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army, and then left to start a family.
I have been working as a nurse predominantly in GP practices and care homes.

Hi everyone I'm Felix. Im a graduate of Lorma College in the Philippines and finished the course of Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1994. My wife and I live in Aylesbury and I love working as a Registered General Nurse at Hempton and for Barchester.
This is a great team to be part of and we have the best residents living in the home

My name is Mike, and I recently joined Hempton Field as the Activities Coordinator.
I have vast experience in the care sector, starting as a care assistant in 2003 and then taking on the role of an activities assistant. I quickly realised that my passion was delivering activities and wanted to pursue this career.
I have studied art at college, and I am very excited to showcase my talents to the residents and involve them in lots of arts and crafts projects.

Hello, my name is Heather and I am the Head Chef here at Hempton Field. I have worked at the home for over 20 years and love that the home is a big part of the community. I take time to talk to the residents about their food preferences and love hearing their suggestions.
Nutrition and a balanced diet are so important for our residents, and as appetites lessen the presentation and taste of the food is also vital. I put together menus that use fresh quality ingredients as well as a few treats including home-made cakes.

Hi, my name is Lahari and I have been looking after our residents here at Hempton Field for over a year and a half.
There are not many people who can say they love what they do, but for me, every day is full of rewards when taking care of people. I'm glad I can be there to support them with what they need.

Hello, my name is Mandy and I am one of the Carers here at Hempton Field. I absolutely adore my job, of caring for our residents. I have many years’ worth of experience in the care industry and could not think of a more rewarding job to do
