The majority of bedrooms are en-suite, set across two floors which foster a truly homely atmosphere. With each room tastefully decorated and the grounds maintained to the highest standards, Hempton Field has as much personality as its residents - you can be proud to call it home.
The home has two communal lounges and a well-appointed dining room, meaning peace and quiet is never far away. The house is situated on half an acre of grounds, where you can relax in the gorgeous sheltered courtyard, surrounded by flower beds and a pond. The gazebo area has views of the Chiltern Hills and is perfect for outdoor socialising.
Chefs prepare meals on-site, offering residents a daily menu with tasty, nutritious choices. Meals can be taken in the dining room or in residents' own bedrooms as preferred. Special diets will be catered for.
Activities staff oversee a busy schedule of events. Residents are encouraged to participate and to help plan these events, to ensure there is something for everyone. Participation is entirely optional, however. There are daily activities in the home, as well as frequent excursions outside it and big celebrations throughout the year.

I can not speak highly enough about this care home. My husband is extremely well cared for by all the staff. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I would have no hesitation to recommending this lovely care home.

Mum has been happy, comfortable and content in Barchester Hempton Field Care Home despite vowing she'd never go into a home. Her frailty has necessitated the move. All the staff have been so kind and considerate to her and made a difficult time as pleasant as it can be.

The staff are always lovely with my father. I do sometimes wish they were a bit more insistent on helping, particularly regarding his personal hygiene but I do appreciate he can be difficult and resistant to help. It's good to see he's happy there and says he's well cared for. The food is excellent...

I do sometimes wish they were a bit more insistent on helping, particularly regarding his personal hygiene but I do appreciate he can be difficult and resistant to help. It's good to see he's happy there and says he's well cared for. The food is excellent (we've had lunch there) and there is certainly plenty of it. He is encouraged to join in the activities but often prefers to stay in his room. The home is attractive, well-maintained and clean, although my father's bathroom is a challenge and often smells unpleasant!

We found all staff to be super friendly and supportive to our sister-in-law.
We had a couple of meals which were in the dining room which were very enjoyable and enjoyed the afternoon coffees and cake.

I have found all the staff more than helpful with myself and also very caring with my friend.

Visited my uncle here for the first time today! What a fantastic experience, all the staff were lovely, the food delicious, especially the mushroom risotto, and we were made to feel so welcome. It truly is a home-from-home. I don’t live locally, so cannot visit often, but to know my uncle is so well cared for gives my mum, his sister, such peace of mind.

My dad was rushed into the home after heart failure had taken a swift turn for the worse. The whole process of getting him on very short notice was made very easy by the head of the home and staff. Whilst he was only there 3 days before he died, the staff all made his stay a comfortable one. I cannot sing their praises highly enough. The home itself, recently re-furbished, was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen staff and food a delight. Thank you very much for all your efforts.
