We were completely blown away by Dad's diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease in October. We don't live near Dad but knew we had to choose a home where he could spend his final days, hopefully, weeks. Lashbrook House was a tremendous find. It was the first home we visited and we knew instantly that Dad
would love it. The surroundings, the staff, the atmosphere, and the cleanliness shone out from all the other homes we had visited. It's just perfect. Dad has a wonderful view from his room. The rooms are clean, modern and actually look like a hotel. The corridors aren't cluttered, they are nicely decorated with lovely pictures. Lashbrook is a home, not a care home, it's Dad's home. We could not wish for a nicer home for Dad. The love and support from the Manager is outstanding who just has a knack of understanding her resident's needs and if something isn't right, she will put the action in to get it sorted. As a family we are so happy Dad is happy. Can't wish for more than that.Thank you

My wife has been a resident at Lashbrook for five months and suffered from dementia.
I find her care at the home excellent with all the staff extremely caring and attentive. I am very happy with the choice I made for my wife to be at the Lashbrook.

My wife was there about seven years and during that time we had no problems. I am treated with respect as my wife too. I visit my wife every day and staff are first class, they are my friends too. I have never seen anybody upset about them. The manager is very approachable and pleasant. Always on the
move and kind to talk to us. The manager will help at all times.

Lashbrook is an excellent care home, with lovely, friendly and caring staff who do everything they can to make their residents feel constantly well looked after. The home has a happy atmosphere and any request is met, if at all possible. The food is wonderful and I think this, together with the love
and care they provide to my mother, is what has helped her to still be with us at the great age of 101.

We are extremely grateful for the care provided to my late father. He had the opportunity to come to the care home due to the demand of needs and we couldn't have wished him a nicer place for him to be. The level of care was excellent and the atmosphere was a kind one. All the staff were very attentive
and caring throughout the duration of his stay. We left knowing that he would be well looked after at all times.

My husband was here for 1 week's respite.
The staff were extremely helpful to me and my husband. He seems to have had an excellent time and enjoyed the company which he needs.
I am hoping he will be coming again and maybe be a full-time resident in the near future.

My father who has dementia, very poor mobility and increasing needs recently moved to Lashbrook House where he has settled in remarkably quickly. All members of staff are always friendly, very kind and supportive. The care they provide is superb and always given with a smile. Lashbrook House has a lovely
calm happy atmosphere which is due to the very hard working dedicated staff. This allows residents to feel safe, happy, secure and relaxed.
Residents and their families are encouraged to take part in the very varied programme of activities on offer. It is delightful to see my father relaxed happy and engaging with the activities offered.
The food is fabulous, very varied catering for a wide range of dietary needs. It’s wonderful to see Dad eat so well.
We are so grateful to everyone at Lashbrook House for all that they do. Thank-you.

My mum moved into Lashbrook after developing dementia and no longer able to cope safely with everyday life.
We knew straight away that it was a special place. The staff are always very supportive and provide excellent person-centred care. Nothing is ever too much trouble. All meals are healthy and
nutritious and cooked on site with special dietary needs catered for.
Activities at Lashbrook are truly a family concern and welcome the resident's families and friends to get involved in a varied activities programme ranging from BBQ's in the garden, quizzes, arts and crafts, trips out to concerts, musical afternoons and lots more!
Choosing Lashbrook for my mum's care now means I can relax and enjoy our visits happy in the knowledge that she is safe and well cared for. Well done to all the staff, thank you very much.

We visited eight care homes before deciding on Lashbrook House. From our initial visit in February we were made most welcome by the manager and the staff and we decided that Lashbrook House would be the right place for my mother. The staff were most helpful in helping us to bring in some personal
furniture and pictures which are most important for my mother. There is a happy atmosphere at the home and a busy programme of events for the residents including one to ones with members of the staff. The doctor visits each week which is very reassuring and is on call for emergencies. Outings are arranged using the home's mini bus. Security is good. We are confident my mother will be well looked after.

Very peaceful and caring environment with superb staff who give constant care and support to my father day and night. Lots of activities for the residents to pass the time of day. Immaculate clean and bright rooms. We hope he will be able to stay at Lashbrook House after his respite as he is now

My mum needed emergency respite care.
The staff were so kind and helpful arranging a visit to see her at home to assess her needs. They reassured my mum who didn't want to leave her home that she would be very well looked after.
It was organised quickly and professionally.
Mum settled in instantly
and was made to feel welcome and that they were there for here.
The activities provided were amazing and I've not seen my mum engage in so many different things.
The staff were thoughtful and fun always putting my mum's health and welfare first.

My sister was moved from London to Lashbrook, close to us and other family members for palliative care in her final weeks.
We could not have made a better choice. Deep in the countryside and close to the Thames, Lashbrook has a really warm atmosphere and every member of staff - administrative, nursing
and caring - were kind and thoughtful. A Community nurse gave palliative care advice and cooperation with the Lashbrook nursing team was exemplary. Over the many hours I spent at Lashbrook it was apparent that much was done to organise a variety of activities for residents healthier than my sister - and to that catering was of a high standard.
