Each time I visit my friend I find her clean, healthy and as happy as can be. I have found her more active than she has been.

Overall Experience

I have been very satisfied. The very caring staff in attendance at all times, especially as some patients can be a little trying when suffering loss of memory and Alzheimers disease. In my opinion I thought the top floor was well managed. I did sometimes think that the food was rather bland. My mother was offered sufficient liquid I am sure. The staff showed great patience always. However I did think that the fees were too high for a 'not for profit organisation', so I was told at the beginning of her stay.

On my first experience of a 1 week stay in the Collingwood Care Home I must admit, I was a little apprehensive - but I must say how very welcoming and happy week I had, everyone was so kind, considerate and very helpful. Nothing was too much bother, I have been invited to 'pop' in any time for a "cuppa"!!

Bravo to all the staff. Many thanks.

I entered Collingwood Grange at a very 'low ebb' without being aware of why or how, I soon felt so safe and secure in the knowledge that I had but to call if I was nervous or unsure of myself.
The staff are al so efficient and so very pleasant. The home is tranquil, bright, immaculately clean and a very good kitchen; the refreshments throughout the day are a joy.
Collingwood Grange is an absolute credit to its staff and administrators.

Thank you all.

My husband came for respite for 11 nights while I had a break. He was very happy and extremely well looked after. Although he is only 63 needs 24/7 care. Family came to visit and all commented on his personal cleanliness and room. Thank you we will use you again.
