We are really pleased to have found such an excellent home for Dad. The family cannot fault the care that was provided at such a challenging time in his life.

We are deeply indebted to the staff for their kindness to him and his family.

My husband was successfully rehabilitated at Glebe House after a two-week hospital stay. During my husbands stay at Glebe House, I visited him almost daily and would report on what I observed during my 4-hour daily visit. The staff were extremely helpful in resolving issues that my husband brought up. They listened intently and compassionately and took action to clear up matters in my husband's muddled brain. I highly commend the Activities Coordinator who unfailingly brings light and cheer to the residents. The chefs provide excellent, nourishing meals and the carers are dedicated and compassionate. Negatives - Understaffed, the lounge and conservatory are too crowded and dementia patients who unsettle with their outbursts.

The transition to Glebe House has been very smooth and my mother who has Alzheimer's has settled very well. All the staff are very helpful and caring. Every day there has been some kind of activity to join in.

When I first went through the door of Glebe House I felt like I was popping to see a friends house, it was warm, friendly a real home from home. The staff are so caring, nothing is too much trouble for them, the residents are their first concern. Every time we visit my mother-in-law there is some sort of activity going on, the staff try very hard to keep the spirits up and keep their minds working with different quizzes, lots of fun for everyone. I would highly recommend Glebe House to anyone seeking care for themselves or a relative.
