Huntington House, part of The Huntington & Langham Estate, is a charming Victorian country house offering excellent residential and nursing care, set within 30 acres of beautiful Surrey Countryside. Wheelchair-friendly and accessible paths allow residents the chance to explore the estate and visit the horses, sheep and goats.

Family owned and family run for over 40 years, Huntington House has a fantastic reputation for its holistic care with family values at the heart of everything they do. Priding themselves on providing truly individual and meaningful care, Huntington House has a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere with long-serving staff and significantly higher staff - to - resident ratios than other care homes. Their professional and friendly team are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure residents' happiness.

Huntington House is all-inclusive, meaning that everything the home offers is part of a single weekly fee, including all trips out, transport to appointments, toiletries, the hair salon, the bar bistro, fine dining and entertainment.

Huntington House provides residential and nursing care from £1995 per week.


Room fees are all-inclusive - it is one price for all the care and support you will ever need, and includes food and drink, hospitality, activities, transport, hairdressing and newspapers.


External healthcare costs, such as physiotherapy, chiropody, dentistry etc. are not included.


We provide dementia care for early-stages of dementia. Specialist dementia care is provided in our other care home, Langham Court, which is also on The Huntington & Langham Estate.

My mother has been a resident of Huntington House for several years and is very happy and thriving there. Staff are friendly, caring and helpful, communicating any concerns promptly, including follow up if needed.
Although able to care for herself my mother's health needs can be appropriately met
by the provision of 24-hour cover of nursing staff; this ensures she receives the more in-depth monitoring that she requires.
She also has specific dietary needs which are well met. The food is of excellent quality, beautifully cooked and good portions. There is a varied menu and a glass of wine is always available. I visit and stay for lunch regularly and am always impressed with the quality of the meals.
My mother also takes advantage of the weekly hairdresser visits which help her to feel and look her best.
There is a varied programme of activities for residents to participate in if they wish.
All round, an excellent residential home with great facilities and caring staff.

I have spent a very comfortable and happy time at Huntington House. All the staff here have a genuine commitment to caring for all the residents. They are well-trained and competent in all areas. I was given an excellent choice of food and drinks. There were numerous activities which I could join in
or not. Staff were happy to take me for a daily walk and my medical needs were dealt with professionally. This is a very happy, caring family-based home. Excellent.

Huntington House is an exceptional care home and during my great-aunt's 9-month stay, we found the staff and facilities flawless. She was very happy and thanks to the option of shared mealtimes and daily social activities, she was able to strike up some very dear friendships with the other residents.
As a family-owned and managed concern, Huntington House has an ethos, genuine love and affection for the residents that contrasts very starkly with the larger, more corporate care providers. Set in the beautiful Surrey Hills there was always something to discuss on our visits and weather permitting, we were able to take my great-aunt out to see the animals on the grounds, sit in the gardens and enjoy a cup of tea and cake that the staff were happy to bring out to us. The care was second to none and it was immensely reassuring to know that our great aunt was in such capable hands. We are forever in debt to Huntington House and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

My stay at Huntington House was good. I broke my pelvis in a fall crossing from a pavement on the 6th December 2023. The care in the home was good and my pain was controlled very well. The night staff were excellent and the day staff likewise, but difficult to remember all their names!
Huntington
House is a very special place. The dining room was alright, but at times disappointing, because one girl wasn't very welcoming to me!

Mum visited Huntington House for a four week respite period. She was very pleased with the attention she received and was treated with respect and consideration.
We would not hesitate to use the home again and if and when the need arises for a permanent residency this would be her number one choice.

The home has been exemplary in its care for my father. On his recent death, the staff members seemed just as upset as I was!
The management is caring and hands-on; its supervision instils a caring attitude, which is so much the ethos of Huntington House from every member of staff. We have seen the
kindness and willingness to do anything they can with professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Huntington House as a place to put a loved one.

My wife and I were obliged to find emergency accommodation when a tree fell on our house. The management at Huntington House reacted rapidly and with great consideration on a stormy Friday evening. My wife and I were given a very nice room at this notice and have been cared for, for seven weeks in an
exemplary way with patience, kindness and good humour. The atmosphere at Huntington House is friendly and informal, but nevertheless, one of business-like efficiency. I couldn't have asked for more.

I had just come out of hospital and needed a few days' rest and relaxation. The only fault I found was that there was nowhere quiet to sit and read other than my own room. The lounge either had a large TV on or residents were talking or playing games. There were just two chairs at the far end of the
corridor where I used to go and sit and read.

My husband has complex needs and has regular respite breaks at Huntington House. The care is excellent, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and he always seems happy to go. Their care reassures me that I can leave him without worrying about his welfare, knowing they would contact me if there

We moved my father to Huntington House from another nursing home because of the wonderful atmosphere and outside space. The staff from the receptionist through to the excellent nursing staff cannot be faulted.
Their care and compassion for my father is wonderful. He is now bedbound and in his final
stages of life and their end of life communication has been wonderful. I cannot recommend them and their home highly enough.

My mother has been resident at Huntington House for almost 5 years, and has been very happy and well cared for. She is in her nineties but still quite strong and healthy for someone her age. The nursing care has been excellent - Mum can still walk with a frame and still enjoys activities and periods
outside when the weather and Covid permit. Huntington House is a real home from home for her. We highly recommend its staff and facilities.

My aunt was apprehensive about leaving her home for two weeks but was pleased to be met and settled in by the friendly team. She suffers from anxiety but was reassured at every step. She commented after she returned home that she was happy to be back but had actually enjoyed her stay. I was happy with
the outcome, and the only small hitch was a mix up with clothes on return, but I consider this a minor problem.

The care my late mother received here was quite short of amazing. I spent ages trying to find a home for my mother when she became ill and no other home came close to what Huntington House offered. I was able to decorate her room with her pictures and furniture so when she moved in she felt it was a
familiar place. Residents are treated with real respect. I regularly see staff giving residents a hug or cracking a joke with them. It's a wonderful environment with lots of activities. It offers safety and security at a time when loved ones need it most. It is a real home with sensitive and communicative staff who became a part of my family over the last 10 years. There are staff there who have been there since my mother became a resident which speaks volumes. When my mother died, I got huge support and this journey has been made so much easier because of that and them. When she was nearing her end the staff ensured she was able to pass peacefully at what was then her home. My thanks for that.

My mother has received exceptional care and compassion since taking up residency at Huntington House. There is a family-like attitude within the team who nurse for my mother's needs. Management prioritises looking after their staff and indeed the consistency of faces and minimal staff turnover is noted.
Of course, the location and environment are exceptional. My mother loves the cuisine and in fact, believes she is staying in a five-star hotel.

My sister and I never fail to be so very grateful and impressed by the kindness of the staff at Huntington and the high quality of care. Each resident is treated with the utmost respect and as individuals, nothing seems to be too much trouble. We looked at a large number of local care homes for our
father, this stood out amongst them as by far the best.

Very caring and friendly staff.
Both my parents have been in this home, and my siblings and I have been very happy to see how they have been looked after. The home tries hard to create a homely and supportive atmosphere.

Having grown up in Huntington House and spent my childhood living alongside the people we've looked after, I have a unique insight into care. As a result, I am always trying to find ways to make our care home more of a, well, home. I've pioneered a care model that breaks down the barriers between residents and staff, and have been invited to speak at industry events about the importance of relationship-centred care and creating a sense of belonging in an industry that often aspires to be hotel-like with more emphasis on hospitality than homeliness.
Pre-Covid, my own family played a big part in our home, and we are currently training our new puppy (a miniature dachshund) to be a therapy dog that will hopefully soon be coming to the homes with me on a daily basis.
