Huntington House, part of The Huntington & Langham Estate, is a charming Victorian country house offering excellent residential and nursing care, set within 30 acres of beautiful Surrey Countryside. Wheelchair-friendly and accessible paths allow residents the chance to explore the estate and visit the horses, sheep and goats.

Family owned and family run for over 40 years, Huntington House has a fantastic reputation for its holistic care with family values at the heart of everything they do. Huntington House is all-inclusive, meaning that everything the home offers is part of a single weekly fee, including all trips out, transport to appointments, toiletries, the hair salon, the bar bistro, fine dining and entertainment.

Huntington House provides residential and nursing care from £1995 per week.


Room fees are all-inclusive - it is one price for all the care and support you will ever need, and includes food and drink, hospitality, activities, transport, hairdressing and newspapers.


External healthcare costs, such as physiotherapy, chiropody, dentistry etc. are not included.


We provide dementia care for early-stages of dementia. Specialist dementia care is provided in our other care home, Langham Court, which is also on The Huntington & Langham Estate.

Very satisfied with the care my mother has received even the past (nearly 3) years. Home is bright, friendly and nicely "non-corporate".
The attitude of staff towards residents is warm and respectful. Food generally good although occasionally disappointing.

I have always found the home to be very well run, with excellent staff and facilities. It is always clean and in good condition.

I came to Huntington House from the hospital on 7th March after being quite ill for 2 weeks.
All I can say is that from day one my treatment has been excellent from all points of view. I am now a different person from the one that arrived here.
2 years ago my husband, now sadly deceased, stayed
at Huntington House for several weeks and experienced the same wonderful care.

I came to the home on the 6th of December as I had a fall onto soft ground in Haslemere. After visiting the minor injuries clinic, the doctor told me (after an x-ray had been taken) that I had broken a small bone in my pelvis. This presented quite a problem as, where I live, I had signed when I bought
the flat that I could look after myself and cook and care for myself. Temporarily, I needed a care home to recover and be back to looking after myself.


As a result, I booked for a fortnight's care here at Huntingdon House. I couldn't have come to a better place! I have been so well looked after! The care home has cared for me so well and I am improving. After 9 days I am feeling better and the pain is better today. Thank you, Huntingdon House and all of the staff.

I came to Huntington House for post-operative care after surgery for a triple bypass and replacement heart valve. The care, professionalism and personal interaction were all of the highest standards and I have been well prepared to return to my own home.
They have worked together with my own surgery
to facilitate the difficult task at the beginning to understand and work with the diet associated with warfarin medication. The care assistants are friendly, thoughtful and thorough, the food is varied and tasty and cleanliness is first class. I felt too unwell to take part in the numerous and interesting activities.

I have been surprised by the standard of service in all respects. The staff have been very attentive especially in informing health standards. Medication has been looked after and made sure that the necessary medication has been taken. The food has been excellent and even requests from the norm have
been made, they have been dealt with very well. Finally another word in praise of the staff who have always been helpful, pleasant and cheerful even when some of the tasks they have to perform have not been very pleasant ones.

I moved into Huntington House having spent the previous 8 months travelling from hospital to the nursing home and this was to be my final visit to the nursing home to enable me to return home. From day one I was encased in a loving caring atmosphere with dedicated staff looking after me day and night
and I am now returning home to face normal life with the help of everyone.

I think Huntington House is a very lovely place to live. I enjoy the trips out. The care staff are lovely. The manager is most kind and helpful, could not be better. Food needs to be more tastier, especially the meat. All the staff are kind and supportive. I enjoy living here and could not find anywhere
else better than here.

Langham Court is a nursing home for residents with dementia. It is an amazing home ...the staff are friendly, caring and professional. The home has adopted the Butterfly scheme for dementia which creates a family like atmosphere and caters for the personal needs of each resident. My husband is very
fortunate to be here and for myself, I feel confident that he is being looked after extremely well.

Some of the staff were excellent and really cared, but others not so much. Food was not always as good as we had hoped. Surroundings and location are excellent more like a hotel.

I have had experience of care homes in the past and Huntington House is by far best I have seen. It has a very friendly homely feel to it and staff all seem happy to work there. My mother improved so much there during her 14 month stay allowing a spell in hospital and much of this was due to the help
and support provided in the home. It is note worthy that they emphasis the value of animals in aiding recovery and therapy. Overall excellent and would certainly recommend.

Charlie

Charlie Hoare

Job Title: Managing Director Joined: 2014

Having grown up in Huntington House and spent my childhood living alongside the people we've looked after, I have a unique insight into care. As a result, I am always trying to find ways to make our care home more of a, well, home. I've pioneered a care model that breaks down the barriers between residents and staff, and have been invited to speak at industry events about the importance of relationship-centred care and creating a sense of belonging in an industry that often aspires to be hotel-like with more emphasis on hospitality than homeliness.
Pre-Covid, my own family played a big part in our home, and we are currently training our new puppy (a miniature dachshund) to be a therapy dog that will hopefully soon be coming to the homes with me on a daily basis.
I am always more than happy to chat to anyone trying to figure out the best way forward for their loved one requiring care, so please don't hesitate to contact us and ask for me if I can help in any way at all.
