My brother and I are extremely grateful for the care, support and kindness shown to our Dad. Staff have supported Dad to regain his strength and mobility following a lengthy stay in hospital prior to moving in.
We're always made to feel welcome by the staff, they give us updates on how Dad has been that day, as well as listening and responding to any queries or concerns we may have.
We sincerely value everything they do to ensure Dads needs are met with dignity and respect. Staff dedication has given our family great reassurance and peace of mind.

my sister has been a resident for 10 years looked after very well staff are very kind.
Thank you for your review, it is a pleasure to look after your sister!
My Mum was placed at Springfield Manor after a spell in hospital and sudden decline due to her diagnoses of Alzheimer's. I could not have wished for a better home for my mum to have gone to. All the staff are so friendly and caring and I am always made to feel welcome when I visit. The Staff are very quick to pick up if there has been a change in my mums health and take necessary steps. They put on a variety of activities at the home and my mum is included when her health allows for it. The home always has a friendly, homely atmosphere when I visit and is clean and well presented. They ensure all dietary requirements are catered for and the food is well presented and looks appetizing and fresh. Although my mums room initially didn't have the best view not long after my mum went into this room the home took it upon themselves to landscape the outside area to make it more stimulating. I would highly recommend Springfield Manor to anyone that is looking for a home for their loved ones.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words about Springfield Manor. It means a great deal to us to know that you are reassured by the atmosphere, cleanliness, and homely environment we strive to provide. Our staff work hard to ensure that residents feel comfortable, safe, and included, and...
My Brother recently passed away on 8th August. He had been here for 4 years and during this time he was given the most and excellent care by all the staff. I would recommend this home for a loved one to stay at. All the staff are very kind and considerate.
It has been our privilege to care for your brother over the past four years, and we are grateful for the trust you placed in us.Your kind words about our staff and the care provided mean so much to the whole team. We are dedicated to supporting our residents with compassion and dignity, and it is...
Due to not being power of attorney I couldn't get her moved or I would have done
There is no atmosphere not even a tv in main room I had to write to the home monthly to ask them to do more activities. My mums window to her room couldn't even open properly as the lock was broken for 3 years it's a miserable place and I would not recommend anyone to send their loved ones there. There is also a very strong smell in their that is not pleasant. I thought the new manager would make a difference but he was no better than the one before that. The odd pictures they put on social media are not how it is there no love no compassion and the fact my mum was stuck in that place for three years will affect me for the rest of my life. I wanted her to end her final years happy but instead she sat in a dark small room.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear of your concerns regarding your mother's care. When she first joined us for end-of-life care, she improved and returned home; when her health declined again, Springfield was chosen once more by the family. Your siblings, who hold Power of Attorney,...
I'm happy with my stay here at Springfield Manor puttenham. The staff are very attentive, I feel well looked after . The catering is nice , good variety. Any issues I've had has been resolved quickly.
It is our pleasure to look after you at Springfield. I am pleased to hear that you are happy with the care provided. Thank you for your valuable feedback.
This is a lovely home with very caring and friendly staff and my uncle is well taken care of here. The grounds are well kept and it is nice to sit on the benches and look down into the valley. I also like the check-in and check-out system in the foyer and I think the security is very good.
I'm glad to hear that you appreciate the home and its beautiful views down the valley. It's great to know that the enhanced security in the front foyer is being well-received. Your feedback is always valuable, and it's wonderful to see positive developments in the home.
The staff were so caring and did so much to help my husband. I was treated very well and could always talk to the staff. The home is a very happy place.
Thank you for your kind words! It was a privilege for our team to care for your husband at Springfield. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
My father has been at Springfield now for a couple of months and has settled in very well. The whole care team from the management to the nurses are very efficient, professional and diligent. I was worried at the start how my father would react to moving from his home of many years to a residential home but the staff have dealt with him perfectly with compassion and humour. The home has a lovely family feel to the place, a very relaxing environment. Also communication with the management team has been excellent, I would highly recommend Springfield to anyone.
It is a vast improvement to hospital, when you need all-round care, but are not critical.
I will end by saying, I am happy here.
We could not have been happier with our choice of Springfield Manor for Dad. The physical and emotional care was wonderful. We felt welcome from the start, and confident that Dad would be looked after. Not just with his physical needs, but also respected as an individual and treated with dignity. We saw the same staff working there consistently, they knew our names and all family members. They knew Dad and his family and friends who visited. We were given updates on who had visited and what Dad had done that day, which made us feel part of his life. He was always looked after so well. The communication to the family was great and any medical concerns were immediately shared. You didn’t just feel like another family, you felt like the only family there. It doesn’t feel clinical, despite being equipped to be so. It felt as much like home for Dad as it could. I will be eternally grateful to everyone at Springfield for the care, compassion and love they showed Dad and our family.
From the moment I set foot in Springfield, I knew it was the correct place for my husband. The staff were happy and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were long-term permanent as opposed to agency so it was good that my husband could over time recognise voices and faces if at times he couldn't always remember their names. The staff also made a point of getting to know my husband and were able to relate to family members such as the grandchildren making them very welcome. I felt very happy leaving him in their care and trusting them to do their best to keep him safe, comfortable and happy as much as possible. Staff always treated his personal care with dignity and kindness which was very important to know. I was made to feel welcome whatever time I arrived and never made to feel in the way. I was very happy with the care and it was the right place for him to be.
All the staff were very friendly and kind. Everyone made my mother so welcome. All the staff were very friendly to all my mother's relatives and friends. The home was very clean and the view is amazing.
My mother is being treated with the utmost care and dignity by all the staff at Springfield Manor. She is unable to communicate her needs herself but the patience and kindness shown to her is obvious when we visit. She struggles to eat but the carers persevere and she is healthy and happy. Communication is easy and positive from everyone at the home.
The home has a beautiful view across the green valley - Dad loved being outside - we would sit out on the terrace or the grass on sunny days.
Sadly we lost Dad a couple of weeks ago - they could not have been more supportive, we could go to Dad anytime and stay as long as we wanted (even through the night) their end-of-life care was great and they were sensitive to give us our personal time - as much as we wanted.
Thank you to all of you, keep up the good work.
I have no hesitation in recommending Springfield Manor Nursing Home.
Very good care of my brother in the care home. Staff very helpful, very pleasant at all times. Good communication with family, always have time to explain of any problems with my brother. Always available when we need them.
My wife and I have had a great Summer. We did manage to sit outside on the Patio on several occasions. My wife's Dementia is getting worse every day. The management and dedicated staff take great care in looking after her because she can be very difficult at times. She has problems at night, but the staff do take care of her. The entertainment this summer has been well received by the residents, and look forward to the oncoming trips. Top marks to the management and staff.
The home is perfect for my mother, they go over and above to look after her. I cannot fault the staff or management in any way, they are always available when I need them. All I can say is they're the best.
