I have been here about a year and found it a fulfilling experience. Many aspects of life are enlarged or fulfilled.
There are some surprises, they generally enlarge our view of the outfit. It is very good for doctors and really everyone else of perception.

My Father's assessment for Alzheimer's care was deemed "lowest level" required. Four months later asked to leave, Sunrise pocket the £6000. Regardless of how it is covered in a contract, you should assess properly and understand the nature of the disease and its symptoms. My Father went to another home
and was treated appropriately as an Alzheimer's patient should be treated....no one on one care that required more of his money, just good old fashioned patient attention and care.

Despite the "promise" to review a fair reimbursement when referred to Management they were told not to reimburse. During the process I had bailiffs calling and credit retrieval organisations threatening court....not impressive!

My sisters and I are delighted with the care and facilities at Sunrise of Weybridge. For the first time in a couple of years, we can sleep knowing she is safe as she has dementia. The staff are wonderful and she loves them too. The food is delicious as well as nutritious. The room is lovely and like
the whole building kept immaculately clean.

My mother has been very well cared for in the four months since she entered Sunrise of Weybridge. The place is very clean including the bathrooms which is a tribute to the staff (I would recommend replacing foot pedal bins which are small with an open top medium size for the paper towels, or even a
high-speed air hand dryer, I was surprised at how readily my mother adjusted to these in public bathrooms). Staff are extremely friendly and polite. The one 'complaint' that my mother and other residents have expressed is that they are not asked often enough if they would like a cup of tea. The food is excellent and provides a balanced diet for those who so choose. Social activities seem well organised and frequent.

Staff are very caring - when I was in hospital, the care team were excellent at coming to visit. Care staff take real care and always treat me with dignity and respect. my 100th birthday celebrations were brilliantly planned and my family were made to feel welcome and special on the day. You do charge
top rate for care and it does go up when extra things are needed - although it is lovely to be able to have a big enough room for my own things.

The staff and carers were all friendly and helpful but communication between them appeared poor. Some would persist in coming to the room to assist me to wash and dress or get into bed even though I was fully capable, others never came all day. Sometimes the bed was made and the room tidied, others
no one came to it all day. The food was generally good but very ordinary and the meal service very variable, sometimes quick and at others very slow. The management did not appear to mix with the residents but left that to the carers, but were available if requested.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.811)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.811) out of 10 for Signature at Weybridge is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 20 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 20 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.902 for Signature at Weybridge is calculated as follows: ( (215 Excellents x 5) + (17 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 235 Ratings = 4.902
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.909 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Signature at Weybridge is based on 20 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 110 registered maximum number of service users is 22. 20 Positive Reviews ÷ 22 = 0.909
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Client Liaison Manager Joined: 2020

I joined Signature in 2020, bringing with me several years of local experience in another area of care. Having lived in the area all my life, and with my family running a well-known high street business since 1965, I am proud to have deep roots in this community. It is not uncommon for families seeking care to recognise me or my family, which adds a personal and meaningful dimension to my role. My position at Signature is wonderfully varied and allows me to draw on a wide range of skills, but at its heart is what matters most to me: helping people. Supporting families through important decisions and ensuring residents feel truly at home is incredibly rewarding. Signature is known for setting the standard, not only in the quality of care we provide, but also in the beautiful environments we create. I am delighted to be working for what I believe is the best care provider in the country, and I can confidently say that Signature at Weybridge is a truly special home. The unique atmosphere here is felt from the moment you walk through our front doors.

Job Title: Clinical Services Manager

I have been part of the Signature family since March 2014, beginning my journey as a Dementia Care Manager, where I discovered a deep passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred dementia care. In 2021, I was proud to be shortlisted as a finalist for Best Dementia Manager at the Care Awards, recognising my commitment to excellence. That same year, I became Signature’s Regional Dementia Mentor, supporting teams across the group to enhance standards, share best practice and inspire excellence. In 2025, I was promoted to Clinical Services Manager, allowing me to support residents, families and teams at an even deeper level.

What I love most about dementia care is building meaningful relationships and truly understanding the person behind the diagnosis. It is not just about meeting physical needs, but about preserving dignity, creating moments of joy, and helping residents feel safe, valued and understood every day. Working at Weybridge is special because of the strong sense of family, teamwork and shared values. The team is passionate, compassionate and genuinely committed to enhancing the quality of life for every resident. Supporting and developing our staff is central to this culture, ensuring they feel confident, valued and empowered to deliver exceptional care. Families are closely involved, and care is thoughtfully tailored to each individual’s life story, preferences and needs.

Job Title: Residential Care Manager Joined: 2013

Since moving to the UK in 2007, I have built a fulfilling career in residential care, beginning as a Care Assistant while completing my NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care. My passion for working with people inspired me to go on to complete a Master’s in Business Administration and HR Management, which led to a leadership role as a Care Home Administrator.

In 2019, I stepped into the role of Residential Care Manager, allowing me to combine strong operational leadership with my commitment to person-centred care. I truly believe that with the right support and environment, every individual can enjoy life to the fullest. Working with Signature Senior Lifestyle has been especially rewarding. It is a place where I feel a strong sense of purpose, and where we genuinely make a difference to the lives of residents and their families every day.

Job Title: Wellbeing and Lifestyle Manager Joined: 2018

Before joining the care sector, I spent many years working in the corporate world with Johnson & Johnson Medical, holding roles including Customer Service Manager for the European Repairs Division and European Supply Chain Specialist. In 2018, I made the leap into care as an Activities Coordinator — a significant career change, but one I’ve never looked back on.

I’m truly passionate about what I do. My focus each day is simple: to bring joy, connection and purpose to our residents. Whether it’s through music, crafts, gentle exercise, minibus outings or simply a friendly chat over coffee, I believe it’s the little moments that make the biggest difference.

Activities play a vital role in life at Signature, and I’m fortunate to work with a fantastic team that shares that belief. We’re always open to new ideas — if it’s possible, I’ll do everything I can to make it happen.

One of the most memorable moments in my role was arranging for a resident living with cancer to see her favourite artist, Cliff Richard, at the Royal Albert Hall. Seeing her smile that night reminded me exactly why I do what I do — it’s about making every day count.

In 2013, I settled in England and began my journey in the care sector, joining an Activities Team where I found a real sense of purpose. Since 2020, I’ve supported the administrative team, and in 2022, I became Business Administration Assistant. I was proud to be promoted to Business Administration Manager in 2023.
