Sunrise offered lots of help to allow my mother to 'settle in' and have continued to support her and the family.

The food is very tasty (personal experience) and nicely presented - with a varied selection. Plenty of help to make Mum feel comfortable in her new home.

There is a constant programme

of replenishment so the whole establishment looks clean and well cared for.

My mother in laws experience was rather mixed as she never believed that she should be in a care home. The Sunrise staff spent a great deal of time endeavouring to make her as comfortable and happy as they could make her. My major negative and a big negative was the increasing use of agency staff who
did not know the residents. The permanent staff - carers, restaurant and reception were fantastic.

Best efforts by friendly staff, but always very rushed leading to omissions and mistakes, breakages etc.
Staff also feel that Sunrise is understaffed.
However, when I raise this with management, I am "shouted down" with denials.

Both my mother and father spent their final two and a half years at Sunrise. The facilities and environment are beautiful and well maintained and the provision of care was uniformly consistent, efficient and compassionate.
As my parents deteriorated through old age the level of care was increased to
ensure that my parents always felt safe and comfortable and confident in the attentions they received.
All staff proved to be caring, efficient and cheerful, making the atmosphere welcoming, friendly and homely.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The care my parents received whilst living at Sunrise was first class. The environment was always clean, well maintained and welcoming and the staff caring, happy and positive. There was always a 'hello' and chat and a real family atmosphere.
As my parent's health declined with age, so the level of
care increased. There was never a moment we felt we weren't receiving the very best attention, whether it be with specially prepared meals, always delicious, or a cup of tea in the garden - so important to my mother.
The activities staff are always so enthusiastic and full of ideas for outings and programs to keep everyone entertained. The quality of my parent's life increased hugely once they moved in.
Thank you.

The resident is very happy with Sunrise of Weybridge - on admission he was alert and mainly independent apart from care needs relating to paralysis legs. He was delighted with the care and attention given with only minor issues relating to promptness or response when ringing for attention. Since admission,
he has physically deteriorated requiring full care. This has been well responded to - with caring and appropriate response. Personal care by caring positive staff has been very important in his well-being and positive secure feel in Sunrise of Weybridge.

My mother is being wonderfully cared for by the staff at Sunrise of Weybridge. They keep me informed of her welfare and I often am there when she is attended to. Very good professional and efficient staff. I feel that the head office financial team need to get their act together and keep careful records
of when residents are away and not living in their rooms. My mother was in the hospital for 2.5 weeks and I'm still waiting for a refund from Sunrise of Weybridge. This only came to light as I keep a very careful eye on my mother's finances and invoices have been wrong.

Sunrise is very well run. The staff and carers cannot do enough to help.
We have monthly resident meetings. The management wants to know our views, what we like and don't like. They act on our suggestions. They say that, if we don't tell them, they won't know.
There is a very happy atmosphere.

am so glad I chose Sunrise.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.811)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.811) out of 10 for Signature at Weybridge is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 20 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 20 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.902 for Signature at Weybridge is calculated as follows: ( (215 Excellents x 5) + (17 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 235 Ratings = 4.902
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.909 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Signature at Weybridge is based on 20 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 110 registered maximum number of service users is 22. 20 Positive Reviews ÷ 22 = 0.909
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Client Liaison Manager Joined: 2020

I joined Signature in 2020, bringing with me several years of local experience in another area of care. Having lived in the area all my life, and with my family running a well-known high street business since 1965, I am proud to have deep roots in this community. It is not uncommon for families seeking care to recognise me or my family, which adds a personal and meaningful dimension to my role. My position at Signature is wonderfully varied and allows me to draw on a wide range of skills, but at its heart is what matters most to me: helping people. Supporting families through important decisions and ensuring residents feel truly at home is incredibly rewarding. Signature is known for setting the standard, not only in the quality of care we provide, but also in the beautiful environments we create. I am delighted to be working for what I believe is the best care provider in the country, and I can confidently say that Signature at Weybridge is a truly special home. Job Title: Clinical Services Manager

I have been part of the Signature family since March 2014, beginning my journey as a Dementia Care Manager, where I discovered a deep passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred dementia care. In 2021, I was proud to be shortlisted as a finalist for Best Dementia Manager at the Care Awards, recognising my commitment to excellence. That same year, I became Signature’s Regional Dementia Mentor, supporting teams across the group to enhance standards, share best practice and inspire excellence. In 2025, I was promoted to Clinical Services Manager, allowing me to support residents, families and teams at an even deeper level.

What I love most about dementia care is building meaningful relationships and truly understanding the person behind the diagnosis. It is not just about meeting physical needs, but about preserving dignity, creating moments of joy, and helping residents feel safe, valued and understood every day. Job Title: Dementia Care Manager Joined: 2008

With over 17 years’ experience in the care sector, I have been proud to grow my career with Signature since joining the Weybridge team in 2008. I began as a Care Assistant, progressing to Senior Care Assistant before moving into the Wellness Department to support our Dementia Community. In July 2018, I was promoted to Dementia Care Manager.

Today, I lead a dedicated team of care professionals and am responsible for both our care staff and the well-being of our residents. I am most effective when supporting and empowering my team to deliver exceptional, truly person-centred care. For me, it is about creating peace of mind for families and ensuring every resident feels safe, supported and valued. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of an outstanding team that consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the happiness and well-being of those we care for.

Job Title: Residential Care Manager Joined: 2013

Since moving to the UK in 2007, I have built a fulfilling career in residential care, beginning as a Care Assistant while completing my NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care. My passion for working with people inspired me to go on to complete a Master’s in Business Administration and HR Management, which led to a leadership role as a Care Home Administrator.

In 2019, I stepped into the role of Residential Care Manager, allowing me to combine strong operational leadership with my commitment to person-centred care. I truly believe that with the right support and environment, every individual can enjoy life to the fullest. Working with Signature Senior Lifestyle has been especially rewarding. It is a place where I feel a strong sense of purpose, and where we genuinely make a difference to the lives of residents and their families every day.

Job Title: Wellbeing and Lifestyle Manager Joined: 2018

Before joining the care sector, I spent many years working in the corporate world with Johnson & Johnson Medical, holding roles including Customer Service Manager for the European Repairs Division and European Supply Chain Specialist. In 2018, I made the leap into care as an Activities Coordinator — a significant career change, but one I’ve never looked back on.

I’m truly passionate about what I do. My focus each day is simple: to bring joy, connection and purpose to our residents. Whether it’s through music, crafts, gentle exercise, minibus outings or simply a friendly chat over coffee, I believe it’s the little moments that make the biggest difference.

Activities play a vital role in life at Signature, and I’m fortunate to work with a fantastic team that shares that belief. We’re always open to new ideas — if it’s possible, I’ll do everything I can to make it happen.

One of the most memorable moments in my role was arranging for a resident living with cancer to see her favourite artist, Cliff Richard, at the Royal Albert Hall. Seeing her smile that night reminded me exactly why I do what I do — it’s about making every day count.

Since 2020, I’ve supported the administrative team, and in 2022, I became Business Administration Assistant. I was proud to be promoted to Business Administration Manager in 2023.

I take great pride in my work and am always happy to help — whether it’s assisting a resident, supporting a colleague or ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. For me, it’s all about delivering service with care, warmth and professionalism.
