Sutton Lodge is committed to quality residential and nursing care, while also specialising in palliative, respite and convalescence needs.

This converted grand private home retains much of its historic charm and cottage feel while being suited to modern care and a comfortable lifestyle. It has a large garden with a water feature, raised flower beds and a seating area for all to enjoy. Most of the bedrooms are ensuite.

Sutton Lodge is ideally located with the centre of Oatlands and Walton on Thames being less than a mile away and just over a mile away from Weybridge Town Centre. The home is located on the A3050 which has multiple bus stops just 100m from the home, offering easy access for visiting families.

As an enhanced service to residents, weekly GP visits are conducted at Sutton Lodge Care Home, enabling residents to receive regular, personalised medical reviews as part of their approach to person-centred care.

Dietary needs are discussed on arrival and incorporated into a menu of fresh seasonal produce, eaten in the bright and airy dining rooms or in the privacy of clients’ own bedrooms.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests.

From pets therapy, music and gentle exercise to visiting performers there is lots going on and anyone is welcome to pop in and join in, whether you’re friend, relative or loved one.

I've visited my aunty several times during her stay at Sutton Lodge (6 weeks) and everyone was extremely helpful and always looked after her well. She really enjoyed her stay and managed to get better and put on some weight. She especially enjoyed the genuine care from the team and the cakes in the
afternoon, always home made ( I enjoy them too) We would definitely use them again and I recommend to others.

The staff are very caring and considerate. The food is excellent. We are very happy with everything. Good to know they have taken on an extra person to organise activities so there will be more.

Mother is in a step down bed at present, staff and manager could not be more helpful and caring to my mother and myself. My mother wants to stay after the step down is over.

My mum was 'not a natural' for fitting in to a Care Home, but after her seizure at Xmas 2014 she was not able to return home and I had previously been to meet two staff members at Sutton Lodge on a 'just in case' basis 6 months earlier and was immediately comfortable they would see my mum would be looked
after and made to feel safe. My mum had little understanding of her situation (dementia) but in her moments of lucidity she appreciated she was in the best place both for her and for my peace of mind. I am very grateful to all at Sutton Lodge, there was even a garden party (which my mum attended) on the day she passed away. The staff work so hard at providing a quality of life to people who are sadly unable to show they are appreciating it, and while I am sure they are it takes special people to keep at it.

Andrea Morgan

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2025

My name is Andrea, and I’m the home manager here at Sutton Lodge. My journey in care began back in 1997, when I started working as a carer in a nursing home that supported both younger adults with complex needs and older residents. From my very first shift, I knew this was where I was meant to be — caring for people, making a difference, and helping others live with dignity and joy.


That passion led me to train as a nurse, and in 2008 I qualified as a registered nurse. I spent several years working across surgical wards and other hospital departments, gaining valuable experience that I’ve carried with me throughout my career.


In 2010 I got married, and I’m now a proud mum to twin daughters and a son — they keep me grounded and remind me every day why care and kindness matter so much. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of care homes, supporting residents, families, and staff with dedication and compassion.


I first joined Sutton Lodge as deputy manager and spent three and a half years here before moving on to other management roles within care homes. Four years later, I was delighted to return — this time as home manager. It truly feels like coming home.


Sutton Lodge is such a special place — a small home with a big heart. The warmth, laughter, and sense of family here are what make it so unique. I’m incredibly proud to lead a team that shares my values of compassion, respect, and dedication, and to be part of a home where residents are not just cared for, but truly cherished.

I started my career with Bupa 10 years ago as a Care Assistant, progressing to Senior Carer, Registered Nurse and now Clinical Deputy Manager for the last 2.5 years.


In late 2014 I was studying for a Psychology Degree when I swapped my weekend job at Specsavers for a part-time Care Assistant job at Queensmount Bupa in Bournemouth.


I loved my care job and worked with some amazing people who made me consider an even bigger career change. When I came back home to Surrey after university I transferred to Sutton Lodge and then began a Master’s Degree in Adult Nursing before taking on a Nursing position here. Sutton Lodge feels like my home from home, and I am so proud of my job and the relationships we build with the residents we care for.


I love my role as Deputy Manager and helping the team to feel empowered and grow. The staff here are so kind and caring, and we support each other through the good times as well as the hard times. My favourite days are still my nursing days when I get to spend quality time with our wonderful residents.


I have a lovely rescue dog who is a huge part of my life and we love spending days walking down the Wey Navigation and spending time with my friend's horses. I also recently got married (which was the gossip of Sutton Lodge for many months!)

I am Georgina and I have been working at Sutton Lodge for three and a half years. I started off as a care assistant, before getting promoted to senior care assistant.


For many years, I worked as a private nanny for children. Following that, I worked for M&S.


I finally got a job in a care home and that’s where I found my passion for caring for the elderly.


Sutton lodge is a small home, I love working here. It feels like a small family.


Outside of work, I have a large family, and in my spare time, I spend all my time with them.

I started my career at Sutton lodge in June 2018 as a care assistant. In November 2021, I changed roles and became an activities co-ordinator.


Over the course of that time, I completed many training courses, including Level 2 in adult care work, Level 2 in English, Level 1 in maths and Level 3 in first aid.


Two years ago, I stepped up and become a senior activities co-ordinator.


I am proud of my work and everything I bring to our home, staff and residents. I am extremely passionate and try my best to plan activities and events around all individuals' needs so everyone can feel involved.


My role has significantly boosted my self-confidence, but more importantly, it has strengthened my skills and abilities in care—especially in leading activities, which are central to my position. I genuinely love my job, and any feedback I receive motivates me to improve and make meaningful changes. I believe there’s always room to learn, grow, and achieve more, especially with the variety of goals, qualifications, and training opportunities available through Bupa and Sutton Lodge.

My name is Teresa - I have worked in care for 5 years and joined the Sutton Lodge team as a carer 3 years ago. For the last 2 years I have been working on reception, where I get to show our lovely home to future residents and their families.


I love working here, we have a fantastic team and are one big happy family.


I have a very naughty basset hound at home who I love taking on walks to various places (his favourite is Esher Woods). I have lived in Walton all my life but hope one day to retire to Devon.
