Tadworth Grove is a purpose-built home that offers residential, nursing and dementia* care, palliative, convalescence and respite stay. At Tadworth Grove, staff are all highly trained in providing 24-hour tailored care. Stays can be from as little as a week. It could be a week to experience living here, a month while recovering from an operation or a more long-term move. Advance bookings available.

Staff get to know each resident personally, to make sure they get the balance between support and independence just right. This provides peace of mind for families and a safe and comfortable home for residents. There are lots of places to relax here. Residents can get their hair done in the salon, enjoy the warmth of the conservatory or catch up with family in one of the lounges. Outside, residents can enjoy views of woodland and horses in neighbouring fields. Landscaped grounds offer several attractive seating areas, raised flowerbeds and wheelchair-friendly paths.

There’s always plenty going on, with things to do arranged every day of the week. There are strong links with the local community and monthly residents’ meetings which means everyone has a say. From weekly singers and entertainers, arts and crafts, games, music clubs to a weekly cheese and wine evening every Wednesday, there is always something going on. So whether loved ones already have a hobby or would like to take up a new one, there are lots of exciting activities to get involved in. Anyone is welcome to pop in and join in, whether a friend, relative or loved one.

Fantastic home all care staff very friendly and on the ball. I looked at few homes in Surrey none of them were near to Tadworth Grove. Environment and garden around amazing. On the day of my visit residents had a garden party. It was so nice to see seniors enjoying that activities.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.878) out of 10 for Tadworth Grove Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 19 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.903 for Tadworth Grove Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (208 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 227 Ratings = 4.903
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.975 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Tadworth Grove Care Home is based on 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.975
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 45 registered maximum number of service users is 9, which has been reached with 19 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Deputy Clinical Manager Joined: 2016

As a Deputy Manager and Registered nurse, I lead a professional team in providing the highest standards of care for up to 45 residents with varying needs.

I’m at my best when I’m caring for other people and I believe relationships are incredibly important, so I am personally involved in all of our residents’ everyday lives.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is improving lives by supporting residents and their families. Every resident we care for has a history and a story to tell and learning about their lives is a wonderful privilege.

Supporting and developing the team around me is also very important to me, as this enhances our residents’ lives and drives outstanding care.

Outside of work, I lead an active lifestyle as a keen cyclist (mountain biking), hiking and running for charity events 5 and 10 k’s.
