As a visiting member for my family, I found the staff very polite and very paring professionals. The care they provide and support for my family member is of the highest standard. Possible that anybody could wish for. I feel my family member is safe and secure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 12 months of the year. Thank you for looking after her.

My dad was so happy at Hailsham House Care Home. The care team are amazing and really looked after my dad until he sadly passed over. It feels like a big family at Hailsham House Care Home and my dad was always made to feel at home. The food is ok and meals are always hot when served. The home is dog friendly and my dad loved it when we were able to visit and bring his beloved dog too! Management were always approachable and friendly and the staff appear well informed and confident in their jobs. The home always looks clean and the gardens look lovely.

Our lovely Mum arrived at Hailsham House in early November for respite, but it quickly became apparent that she needed end of life care. From the moment the Manager visited Mum at home to assess her, we knew that she was going to be in safe hands. It was a difficult time for me and my siblings and also for Mum who had lived completely independently up until her admission.

Mum was treated with kindness, respect and love. Initially, she enjoyed going into the lounge and even outside. Becoming increasingly tired and weak, she stayed in her room. She was never lonely however. Staff were constantly popping by to check-in, she had her hair done, her nails painted, was beautifully dressed and always in her chair. Despite the rise of Omicron, we were able to visit daily, (having undertaken a lft) and although all staff wore masks, their smiles and empathy were palpable. Mum died peacefully 3 weeks later in her sleep, with her hand being held. She (and we) experienced the best care possible.

I stayed here for a weeks respite to give my husband a break.
The carers were efficient, caring and attentive to my needs. I chose to remain in my room for the whole stay and the carers regularly checked to make sure I was ok and if I needed anything.
The room was large and airy with en-suite facilities and very comfortable.
The manager came to my room to check my needs were being met which they were.

Thanks for a very enjoyable and restful stay. Hope to see you all again.

You all looked after my mother over 4 months until she passed away on 30th December 2020. Through lockdown you sent pictures on her birthday, she was happy and relaxed. You all made her last months of life a happy time. Thank you all.

The care of my mum during her stay has been exceptional, despite the extremely trying circumstances that the Covid pandemic has brought. The care staff, from the nurses, care staff, cleaners, cooks and everyone else have been consistently cheerful, professional, kind and friendly. My mum has dementia, and her condition is sometimes very challenging, but this is always met with good natured kindness by the staff. I'm so grateful she's at Hailsham House.

I was really surprised to see how lovely the staff at Hailsham House are. I was coming to visit an old friend of mine and I was really happy to see her smiling and being so happy, I enjoyed myself.

The activities that day was really nice and all the staff were so kind, they asked me if I wanted a cup of tea/coffee to enjoy with my lovely friend. We were enjoying the time together also outside in the garden.

Very friendly and supportive of mum and ourselves. The room moved to downstairs and within sight of the nurses' station much better as mum tends to wander during the early hours. One particular carer especially worthy of note as mum spends a lot of time with her and really benefits from her time.

I am really pleased with the level of care my uncle is receiving. I have spoken with the management team on several occasions, who I found approachable and professional. The home is very clean, and the care staff are also so helpful. I would recommend this home to all. Gardens are beautiful too, and it is great to see that the home has organised garden therapy.

My wife recently had a one week stay for respite care. The room was excellent being extremely spacious and well appointed.
They were very helpful in catering for her needs with regard to an air mattress and a hoist for getting in and out of bed. They even managed to put a fridge in the room for her chilled drinks and snacks.

The staff were very friendly and looked after her very well.
