My late father was a recent resident of Coppice Court and the care we received was second to none, all the staff go above and beyond their normal very high standards and nothing seems to be too much trouble. They are also trained to a very high standard with good communication with resident's family members.
The staff there are led by extremely qualified leaders with their focus on residents' care, they should be commended on what they have achieved.

We can not thank them enough for the dedication and the support they showed to us as a family.

The care my Father is receiving is second to none. All of the staff are kind, caring, compassionate and have treated him with dignity and respect. They keep the family well informed and have been so kind to us. I would highly recommend Coppice Court to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

With some friends and family, we visited Coppice Court Care Home on the occasion of their summer garden party. As the weather was not good we were not able to hold it outside which was a great shame. However, the staff were very good making sure everyone had a drink and was ok. The entertainment was good, everyone singing along. We then enjoyed an excellent buffet prepared by the kitchen staff.

I was admitted to Coppice Court in September 2017 having fractured my ankles falling down a step. I have nothing but praise for the staff at Coppice Court. Very friendly and caring.

During my stay, I was fortunate to befriend another long-term resident and continue to visit the home on a regular basis.

I cannot fault the way in which my grandad has been treated here. All the staff are amazing and they treat not only my grandad but our family as people and not just a number. It is so clean and doesn't smell of old people which I found very surprising. One of the staff there is so upbeat and so good to talk to, she always makes my grandad laugh. Then again all of the staff are amazing however I feel that she has touched our families heart, it doesn't feel like she's a member of staff, it feels like she is family whenever we go there.
The care and compassion that the staff show the residents is brilliant, they treat them like humans and get to know each resident individually.

Thank you to all the management staff and staff for making this a lovely care home, keep up the good work.

The majority of the residents at this home are suffering with Alzheimers disease and are asleep most of the time. I, therefore, cannot have any relationship with any of them. However, the staff treat me as a friend and the activities manager arranges a good programme of one to one events.

The decor, staff and food/care is fine, and I have no concerns re any of the above.

I do feel the weekly/monthly charge is high, compared to the average wage in the area.

This home was able to take my husband at very short notice. The care staff are excellent, but I have not really met the manager.

The rooms are 'tired' - a lick of paint would improve them - however, the standard of care is more important than the decor.

Reply from Clare Sheehan, Careline Advisor at Coppice Court Care Home

Thank you for your review and your kind comments regarding the care home staff which I have shared with the team. We have noted your comments in relation to the need for new paintwork and this will be addressed as part of the ongoing maintenance at the home.

Worried that my mother is not warm enough as only a sheet and thin blanket on her bed. Staff member has said she will ask about a quilt for her. Suggest she wears her bed jacket. Staff very helpful. Room clean and tidy.

After a very stressful few weeks when my mother broke her leg and ended up in hospital, it became apparent that she would now require a nursing home. I can honestly say that, without exception, the staff at Coppice Court have been amazing. They have shown great care and concern to myself and my mum and my hope is that once settled, she can begin to make some progress.

I have just attended the Coppice Court Christmas party. Two different entertainers, a quiz and a raffle, followed by a lovely buffet tea. They know how to celebrate Christmas! Plenty of attentive staff to assist the residents - an enjoyable afternoon, well done!

An excellent "Harvest Lunch" was arranged for today - I was able to have lunch with my husband. The food and service were excellent. Grateful thanks to the Activities Coordinator who organised it. The Mayor and her husband (Consort) were in attendance. They chatted to us both after lunch. We are looking forward to an outing to a local garden centre soon.
