Both my parents are in Lindridge my father 87 with Alzheimer's and my mother 86 recovering from a broken ankle with a view to staying at Lindridge in an apartment. I live abroad. I have spent a week visiting them and can only say that I am going back home to Spain feeling sad to say goodbye but at the same time feeling happy that my parents are being looked after by such a kind team of professionals. I think my parents are lucky to have the opportunity to live under the same roof in such a homely atmosphere where their needs are met. Not just medical care needs which seem first class but also and just as important, their need for loving care at this time of their life. Thank you!

The staff are excellent! I have been here for ten weeks due to complications with a knee replacement. I am cared for very well and the food choice and quality is excellent. The cleanliness of my room is of a good standard. I am very pleased I have my own television as I can relax in comfort. I believe I am meant to be having some physiotherapy at some point during my stay and I have been visited by a doctor as well.

I can't thank the staff enough for the excellent care they gave to my mother and her family. From when she was admitted to when she sadly passed away, they gave her first class care. They knew her name, they got to know her likes and dislikes very quickly!
Her room was always clean and the of the place was very clean. There was always a welcome hello from all the staff.
I would recommend this home to anybody, it is the best home from home for a person who needs extra care and support!!!

A huge thank you to all the staff at the home for making my mother's last few months as comfortable as possible.

I did not choose this care home and did not know of its existence. I was sent here by the hospital after a nasty fall, but I have been very satisfied with it. The staff are friendly and caring and most helpful ( as I could be perceived as an awkward customer. I have unusual eating habits). They took it all in their stride, except for complaints about how hot my room was. Any complaints? I didn't like the W.C I realise it was intended sometimes to be used as a commode, but it was on wheels and very knobbly. There seemed to be no bath (as opposed to showers which I hate). The light switches were in awkward spot behind the bed.

My dad came here for 2 weeks respite and recuperation after a chest infection and leaving hospital too soon. The staff have been amazing - they have brought him back to himself again and shown huge amounts of compassion, insight and understanding for dad's goal to get home and in how they have responded to me as daughter and carer. The door is open here should dad need to return and I would be happy for him to come back to such a wonderful environment.

The smile starts at reception, then you get an army of care. My friend could not be looked after and cared for better. The people are wonderful. I suggest when my friend has an interest that is on TV, it goes in the log.

The home provided excellent respite care for one week following surgery for Subdural Haematoma. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and new. The staff/ nurses at all levels were friendly, caring and anxious to please. I am very grateful for the excellent care I have received.

My time at Lindridge has been very enjoyable a lot more than I expected with all the media reports on care homes being so derogatory. I've had a very comfortable room the care staff have been most helpful and caring. The cleaners do a very good job and the food is very good, with a good choice. I feel that all of the staff go out of their way to make service users feel at home and happy. I am very grateful for the care and support I have received here.
