Overall Experience

My stay at the nursing home has been very comfortable and pleasant. My health and strength are getting better by the day, except for a urine infection half way through my stay. The physio has been very good, seeing someone daily for exercise. Doctor visits on a regular basis. Occupational therapists every morning and afternoon. Care being taken to self-medicate and to do exercise on my own. The food has been of hotel standards, a different menu weekly.

Evening/night care falls short noticeably, run with agency staff. The day staff have looked after me extremely well.

Reply from Paul Burns, Managing Director at Victoria Highgrove

Thank you for your supportive review. I do however note your concern about agency staff at night and can assure you we are actively seeking to address this as quickly as possible.

Overall Experience

The property is located in a high end area in Hove. It's a beautiful Victorian Building converted into 21 private rooms. Each room is nicely decorated with basic furniture. The home has a very pleasant lounge for common use and a lovely zen garden which is very peaceful. The staff are without exception first class. They are courteous, kind, caring and professional. All of these features combined have made my fathers stay very pleasant.
