As I was in rehab the physio's were very good.
Best wishes.
My father was looked after with great care and kindness. The staff were excellent, always happy to answer any questions about my father's condition and they went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and safe. As a family, we cannot thank them enough.
Thank you so much.
The staff are very good. The food is good. Caring for my needs is good.
Thank you very much for kindly giving us your feedback. It really does help. Best wishes.
My aunt was taken in on a respite package and I was happy with the room and service that was provided for her. She is a vulnerable person at the moment, so I didn't think she would like it, but she seemed to enjoy it, especially her food.
Thank you so much and it is nice to hear of a situation like this turning out positively. Much appreciated.
I was very frightened at first, after being in a ward of people and then brought here in a room on my own. Anyway, I am OK now as they are a lot of special people who look after me. I broke my hip but I think I am going along nicely now.
I am delighted to hear that you are getting along nicely and hope you can now make a full recovery. Best wishes.
Staff are excellent - care etc. Pain control is good. I'm pleased with staff who are so helpful, and positive. Take time to treat you with dignity.
It is lovely to get your positive feedback. Thank you so much.
From the moment I left the hospital where I had amazing care to when I came to Victoria Highgrove, I was greeted most cordially. There wasn't any time day or night that I wasn't cared for by the kindest staff, cheery, chatty and thoughtful. The food was very good and well balanced. I would like to thank everyone for the care and attention I received, and I know I shall get better faster for that care. Thank you all.
Best wishes.
Very comfortable and I was so well looked after by the wonderful staff.
Very best wishes.
Thank you so much.
I am so pleased that your week with us was so positive. Hopefully you are recovering well. Thank you.
I had a very happy time in the 5 weeks I was here. The people were always jolly and smiling.
Thanks so much for the feedback. Best wishes.
I was transferred here from the hospital for recovery after an operation. In spite of rebuilding work at the home, I have not been too inconvenienced. I was well received by all the staff, who have been wonderful, warm and friendly. All the staff have displayed great attention to health and safety and I have been very happy with my stay here. I would like to congratulate the catering staff on a well-cooked and variety of meals.
Thank you so much for the kind words and I am pleased the meals were to your liking.
My mother was a resident at the Victoria Highgrove nursing home for 15 months until she recently passed away. When she first moved in, she was in a poor state of health but because of the excellent nursing care she quickly improved. She was always monitored very carefully and if there was any sign of a problem the doctor would be called straight away. The staff were always professional, compassionate, and empathetic and I felt that they looked after her as they would a member of their own family, as they went the extra mile to ensure she was happy and comfortable. Most importantly my mother was very much treated as an individual and she often said how she felt she was always treated with dignity and respect. When it became obvious that my mother was nearing the end of her life, she made it clear that she didn't want to die in hospital and this request was also accommodated. She was given excellent palliative care and was looked after beautifully right until the end.
I much appreciate your taking the time to provide feedback and I am very sorry for your loss.
Best wishes.
My mother was initially admitted for rehab but for health purposes remained at Highgrove for over a year as a permanent resident. During that time she was given the utmost care, attention and kindness from all the staff - the manager, nurses, carers and even the chef paid special attention to her requirements. She enjoyed the entertainment and social activities that were provided and the interaction with the other residents at lunchtimes, but from our point of view, it was the hard work and dedication on a daily basis that made the difference. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home.
Thank you so much for your support. I will let the staff know of your lovely comments.
I was admitted to the Victoria Highgrove on 29th March 2019 after two weeks in the hospital for rehab. The staff were absolutely charming and couldn't do enough for me, and very efficient. A bit thank you!
Thank you for your support and I am delighted you were so happy.
My Mother was sent to this home for rehab following a fall. The care, support and kindness shown to my Mother was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this home.
Thank you so much for your support.
The care and compassion at Highgrove house was second to none, from right down to the kitchen staff up to management.
I am so pleased to read your wonderful comments. Thank you.
New medication was prescribed, physio, OT, Conversation from carers. I loved my stay at the Victoria and did not really want to leave when discharged.
Thank you for your kind words, they are very much appreciated.
I enjoyed my time here the food was excellent. The nursing was good and my room was lovely.
Thank you for your kind words.
Having recently arrived at this establishment, we have found it to be clean and well maintained and of a good standard and all staff are friendly.
The negative side is the home has no bath as not all people like showers. Hot water in rooms was an issue but this has been resolved by new boiler being installed.
The care given to me was first class.
The medication was spot on and just two weeks later I am ready to go home.
I have made a good recovery and thank you to everybody here.
I will miss everybody here, they are so dedicated, I will miss them all.
Best wishes.
