Professional, clean and welcoming. My dad came into the home in January 2023. He has felt welcomed and cared for every day. The staff are friendly, loving, and caring and ensured dad is looked after and his needs met. They even asked him to sing in his room. Hugely recommended it to anybody.
Thank you very much.
My stay was for rehabilitation after a fracture. From my admission, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The support I received gave me the confidence to progress and be able to go home. A home from home environment and lovely room.
Best wishes.
I felt the care was excellent at all times. The staff were very caring. The food was wonderful. The team saved my life! I enjoyed one-to-one time with the activity coordinator.
Thank you.
I have had a very positive experience at Victoria Highgrove Care Home. I have been very well cared for, both physically and emotionally. The staff are very attentive and caring. The level of care has helped with my recovery process and I will always be grateful.
Best wishes.
This is a wonderful place. The staff can't do enough for you. I love the activities and the Valentine's party. The food was lovely and choice offered every day. I'm really going to miss the home. The physio and occupational therapist were so attentive. The management of the home regularly checked if I was okay and do I need anything. Very clean home. My visitors were made to feel welcome. My family were so happy with the care I received.
Thank you so much for taking the time to offer such positive feedback.
My dad has enjoyed his stay at Victoria Highgrove. He has been well looked after and made a lot of friends with the staff. His room is lovely. All the staff are very friendly and caring.
Wonderful to read.
My father-in-law was taken to Victoria Highgrove in January and left on Monday the 20th of February. He was taken with all the staff as they treated him so well. He used to sing songs to the two girls who used to take care of his personal needs. My father-in-law didn't want to leave the home and when he did, he asked me to take photos of the staff so he could remember them.
What a delight.
Thank you.
The facilities are first-rate, the staff are kind, attentive and the food was excellent. I thoroughly recommend Victoria Highgrove - your loved one is in very safe hands.
Thank you.
On being told I was to go to a nursing home from the hospital, I was a bit worried, never having any experience of one. I was greatly surprised and sorry to leave today.
Hopefully, we have given you confidence in care homes for the future, should you ever need a brief stay again.
Thank you.
My wife was very well looked after and cared for at Victoria Highgrove Care Home. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff, day or night, and I was always made very welcome when I visited. The facilities were very comfortable, spacious and clean and I know my wife was happy there.
Thank you so much.
My mother was transferred to the nursing home from hospital for end-of-life care. All the staff at the nursing home were caring and compassionate. My mother was treated with dignity and respect. Many thanks for their help.
Terribly kind.
My nan has been at the home nearly four weeks after having a nasty fall at home. She has been made very comfortable and the staff are great. The round-the-clock care and services provided have been fantastic.
Thank you for the five-star review.
Fabulous nursing home with fantastic staff.
We appreciate all that is done for our mum who is receiving respite care.
Very much appreciate the feedback.
This is a lovely care home. I would be happy to stay here if I needed to. My dear friend had a lovely room all to herself, with toilet and sink facilities of her own (not that she could use them), but they were there. The room was warm, totally clean and well-equipped for her needs, with a much-needed TV, openable windows and a view. She much preferred being here than in the hospital because it was so quiet, and she could, at last, sleep at night. The staff were superb, very friendly, helpful, chatty and attentive. I was even offered a cup of coffee on one of my visits. Whether I should say this or not, they even allowed me to bring my small dog in to see my friend too. And I could park in the area out front for free, even better! Thank you to all for looking after her during the time she was with you.
Thank you.
The staff were kind and caring, nothing was too much trouble. I was treated with dignity and respect. My room was comfortable and bright. Due to a covid outbreak, I was unable to join any activities. The staff dealt with the outbreak superbly to keep everyone safe. If I had to choose a home to be cared for, this would be the one. Only one issue - the TV in the room is past its sell-by date.
Thanks very much.
The care at the home was superb. The staff were so attentive. The manager always checked I was ok. The home was so clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. I feel so much better in myself for my rehabilitation care. The activities were wonderful as I enjoyed the singers, group chat and making things, especially a poppy for remembrance Sunday. My daughter was always kept informed of my care needs.
Wishing you the very best.
Dad has been in Highgrove on respite care for a good few weeks and is full of praise for the care he has received. The staff are kind and courteous to him and he has been very happy there.
I am so pleased you and your dad are so happy. Thank you.
During her time there, my aunt's nursing home underwent a complete renovation and refurbishment. It is clean, bright and welcoming. She had a beautiful room with a sea view. The staff have always been excellent, kind, patient, compassionate and professional. The food is freshly prepared to an excellent standard by the dedicated chef. He provides plenty of imaginative choices and presents the dishes beautifully. He always goes the extra mile for birthdays and special occasions. The staff coped incredibly well with the challenges of covid.
My gosh, thank you so much for this wonderfully, positive assessment. Very much appreciated.
Care with compassion and kindness. Friendly staff, who took time with patient. Good food. Good medication instructions on discharge. Easy visiting access. Due to covid, no activities, apart from physio, which is a shame.
Thank you for your support and you may not be aware that we do now have an activities co-ordinator in post. Best wishes.
I was moved here after a four-week stay in hospital and was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly and welcoming the staff were. I was shown to a lovely room on the first floor with an ensuite toilet. It is lovely and clean. I was shown around the place and was impressed with the facilities. I have had fun taking part in the activities and have made new friends with some of the other residents. The food is tasty but more vegetarian options could be offered.
