My name is Beth and I am the proud manager of Partridge House Nursing Home in beautiful Brighton.
I have been working within the care sector since I left college and have worked my way up through my career, from care assistant to senior carer, to deputy, and finally Home Manager gaining invaluable experience and knowledge along the way.
I have worked as a manager for over 8 years in adult care services including care homes, nursing homes, outreach services, charity-based services, and community-based projects, supporting people with various disabilities, illness, mental health needs and dementia. This allowed me to grow and develop personally as well as in my career, through engaging directly with the people using the services to gain valuable insight and understanding of their individual needs and abilities.
I have been privileged to have been able to attend many courses that have shaped me into becoming the manager I am today, Including Levels 3 & 4 Health and Social Care, Level 5 Management of People Services and gaining a bachelor's degree in LLB Law, where I was able to focus my studies on mental health and social care law as well as business management.
