We always receive a warm welcome. Residents who choose are brought to the lounge for a short church service and the staff show a commitment to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the residents. If people are unable to attend the service they are asked if they would like us to visit them in their rooms and we are taken up to them. The residents always seem happy and there is a lovely warm atmosphere in the home.

Overall Experience
Since my dad has been here the difference in him is amazing. He didn't eat, he couldn't sit up or speak very well. He was confused. Now he eats 3 good meals a day.
He talks to us and can sit up, joins in all the activities which are going on every day.
The staff are all very caring and understanding.
Nothing seems too much trouble.

Well done to you all.

Every time I visit I am met with kindness and friendliness. The residents seem very happy where they are clearly treated with respect and kindness. The house is spotlessly clean and the rooms are bright and nicely furnished. There are plenty of daily activities for them if they wish to participate.

Reply from Henna, Marketing Director at Oaklands Nursing Home

My aunt has been here a long time and everybody has been so kind and looked after her well, giving her love, respect and dignity. She is now 98 and very frail, everything is still being done to make her comfortable. Thank you so much.
