Overall Experience

My mother was admitted to Ashton House Nursing & Residential Home in August 2016. After initially having difficulties settling down, the kindness of the staff helped her to adjust to her new surroundings. At first, she didn't want to leave her room but with the help of the staff, she now goes down to the day room. She also enjoys attending the entertainment afternoons. When we visit her she seems very happy and that is all we can wish for.

Overall Experience

Since my brother has been at Ashton House we have been very impressed with the caring, professional manner which they have demonstrated with regard to his care. He can be very difficult at times but is treated with compassion and understanding. The staff always make us very welcome and we are always asked if we would like a drink. A very welcoming feeling and exceptional care which puts all our minds at rest.

I would like to say how helpful I have found entrance staff - always helpful and smiling! Generally the care staff who care for my friend are excellent. I have mentioned names to a manager on occasions (I visit once a week and have done so for 4 years!).
