Thank you for looking after our mum since October 2022. Mum's care has been exemplary. She suffered for many years with leg ulcers and despite three visits a week to the GP, her legs never improved. When she came to Fulford Care and Nursing Home, with your care and attention, they healed completely.
Mum was never one to spend time by herself. Her life revolved around the family, her garden and her dog. To see mum with her beautiful hair plaited and nail polish on was something we never thought we'd see! She loved the time she spent with you, joining in all the activities. During mum's last few weeks you took care of our whole family and at times there were a lot of us! The supply of drinks, sandwiches and superb dinners meant we could spend quality time with our mum/nan. It's impossible to name members of the Fulford Family who have been so outstanding because it applies to everyone. You have all played your part in taking care of our lovely mum and we will be forever grateful.

My mother-in-law was 91 years of age living on her own doing well then she was diagnosed with dementia which changed everything drastically. It became clear she could not cope on her own any longer even with carers twice a day from her previous home care provider. The Fulford Care Home was mentioned
and everything changed again. From the very beginning of being shown around the home and actually signing up for her care package, we were helped all the way along by friendly and helpful people. She has now been there for eleven months and we are delighted with everything done for her. I thank all of you.

My mum moved to Fulford 2+ years ago she did not like it there to start with but that soon changed. She found all the staff very friendly and looked after her very well. Then we got that call to make our way to her bedside, the day and night staff looked after me and my brother as well as our mum as
much tea, coffee, biscuits sandwiches and toast as we needed. They could not do enough for us. Mum was very well looked after and listened to in her time there. I would recommend this home to anyone. Every time I went there I was made to feel welcome from everyone there.

During my mum's end-of-life care the management and staff discussed all my mum's needs and ensured as a family our last few days with Mum were treated with kindness. They went above and beyond to ensure we were able to spend time with our mum which meant so much to us as a family.

Mum was a resident at Fulford from 2019-2024. From the onset, Mum and the family were made welcome by all the staff. The care for all residents was evident and heartening upon our arrival and sustained every time we saw Mum over the four years.
Mum often said how happy she was at Fulford and made friends
with so many staff. When Mum passed peacefully at Fulford the staff and manager were so empathetic, a truly high-quality nursing home. I'm so pleased they accepted Mum, thank you.

When dad took a tumble the staff at Fulford looked after him swiftly and professionally. The paramedic who attended later was full of praise for how the staff had handled the situation and dressed his wounds.

It was a hard decision to place Mum in a care home. We are delighted with the care, humour and time Mum is given by various carers throughout the day. Care at night is vital to her and given professionally. The homemade food is excellent and she enjoys being able to make choices.
I feel I can go home,
knowing she is being cared for.

What an amazing place. My brothers and I are so glad we found Fulford Care and Nursing Home and are forever grateful for the care our Mum received. The atmosphere was always a happy one and we received updates regularly and without requesting them. I didn’t really want Mum to go into a care home and
had little choice, but Fulford Care and Nursing Home made it so much easier as I knew Mum was getting really good care from genuinely caring people. I will always remember the wonderful upbeat staff who made this difficult time a happy experience for my Mum, always going above and beyond to make life a party! They always had time to talk about Mum. Thank you to all the staff at Fulford Care and Nursing Home for your kindness to both Mum and myself, you are truly wonderful people.

My mother was admitted to Fulford Care and Nursing Home from 29th May to 16th June, within that time the girls who were caring for her was fantastic, the help and service for my mother contributed to her leaving for home after 3 weeks of being admitted. Full credit to the staff who looked after her.

My mother loves it here, she is positively thriving. The staff are friendly and efficient. Food is good and plentiful. There are lots of activities taking place and a lovely courtyard to sit in and enjoy the sunshine. The staff have worked tirelessly to keep the residents and themselves safe during

My mother has been a resident for a few years now. I cannot stress enough the wonderful care she gets from all the staff. The safety put in place throughout COVID was outstanding. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and care that you give my mother and all the residents.

All the staff are so friendly (with one exception) and welcoming, especially the staff member on reception. My aunt is happy living here and is given choices to help keep her independence. She is well cared for and her room is very clean, maybe a little tired looking especially the paintwork.

My mum was in the home for just over a year and throughout this time, she was happy and well cared for. All the staff were very friendly when we visited and we were always made to feel welcome. I could not fault the care she received, particularly in such a difficult time with the Covid pandemic. Mum
was diagnosed as end of life and the kindness and love she received continued until she passed away with a carer by her side. Many thanks to all the staff for your care and support.

This home has looked after my wife over the last few months with great care and compassion.
She has had a stroke and dementia and is very happy and well cared for.
One member of staff has helped us through a very difficult period and we have been able to use a video phone which has been a really lovely
facility for which I am very grateful to this person who has been so caring and supportive. My thanks to all the staff at Fulford who have given my wife exceptional care and love.

Mum has been in the home a relatively long time, and over the years has seen many changes most certainly a huge turn around in staff members.
However, when the home was taken over, that seems to have stopped which is great as Mum now has a chance to have better relationships and the staff can get
to know all her wishes (as such).
The level of care and love shown by the staff is great to witness and reassuring to all the family. Any problems are dealt with quite quickly, and there is a palpable service of wanting to help get things right. As Mum seems happy here, that's a recommendation right there!

I am extremely happy with my mother's care, both nursing and personal. She has been a resident of Fulford for 13-months now. I find I can talk to the management and nursing staff about any concerns I have for my mother, and I feel they understand my mother's needs very well.
I am very pleased that
there is now a carer who organises all the entertainment programmes for the residents. She is excellent, and it is so lovely to see the residents involved in activities, and it certainly brightens up all their days, especially my mother. All the staff worked hard to give the residents a very Happy Christmas.

Both my parents were residents at Fulford Care and Nursing Home. My Mum was suffering with vascular dementia and needed 24/7 care, was looked after with kindness and patience which is vital with this illness. We were always kept informed of any concerns with Mum's care and was always made very welcome
on visits. When Dad lost his mobility we have no hesitation in considering Fulford for his needs when the time was right for him to become a resident, into knowing the staff and management we were confident it was the right place for him and knew he would be cared for and we would have peace of mind. I would recommend Fulford Care and Nursing Home to anyone looking for a decent care home for their loved one.
