We have found Fulford a rest home we can trust for our elderly aunt. The staff have gone out of their way to help her settle in and have been very kind. They also keep us well informed both when we visit and by phone calls.
The décor is excellent and gives a good, relaxed atmosphere.

Mum was in Fulford Care home for 5 weeks. The staff are very kind and helpful. I would like to say the care worker was brilliant, very attentive to Mum and helpful to me when I needed to understand the personal care side of things (as mum has just recently become incontinent). The lady in the office
was particularly welcoming and helpful, setting up a nurse to visit mum when she was back home. Thank you.

The staff are very approachable and friendly towards residents and visitors. They cater for individual needs and activity coordinators take time with residents in group activities and on an individual basis.
It is very difficult for people to give up their own homes and move to a nursing home, but
Fulford have made this transition as easy as possible.

My mum enjoyed her time at Summerlea whilst recovering from hospital. In her time there, she made a recovery to enable to return to her own home. She was well looked after with all the staff being supportive and encouraging. She enjoyed the meals, company and entertainment. Since she has left, she speaks
very well of Summerlea and would like to return!

I have found every aspect of my visits to Summerlea and of my brother's care to be very good. The staff are always friendly and helpful. All my brother's needs are attended to as well as his basic daily requirements help with his limited mobility and individual preparation of meals any medical problems
is dealt with immediately and contact with or visit from his own doctor made if necessary. The home is always clean and comfortable and the staff are capable and caring. Above all, I feel it is safe and very satisfactory environment.
