Woodlands Nursing Home

You look after my dad brilliantly, thank you. The home is an excellent standard throughout and the care staff are very kind and compassionate and feel more like close friends. We are so happy that dad is with you and have already recommended you to others.

We have always had excellent care and support for my mother. We cannot fault the home's response and communication during the pandemic. They have done remarkably well to keep the home free of any outbreak and get the residents vaccinated. We have routinely recommended the home to our friends and several have placed their family here, which is great to see.

Three cheers to you all! I can only imagine the challenges the home has faced during the pandemic and it is amazing you have prevented any outbreak in the home, for which we are very grateful. I have always found the home extremely supportive to us as family. Keep up the good work.

Woodlands provides outstanding care through the quality of its staff who are all caring and focus on the residents. The management team always respond quickly to any questions and there is constant feedback. The nurses are excellent and we are very happy.

We picked Woodlands based on their outstanding CQC report and we are glad we did. This view has been reaffirmed by the pre-emptive and excellent action they have taken during the COVID-19 crisis and I am not at all surprised that they have managed to avoid any outbreaks. As an example: prior to the government announcing lockdown, Woodlands had already put measures in place, such as regular temperature checks for all and even went as far as plumbing in an external basin for everyone to use prior to entering the building. The staff are compassionate and caring. When picking a home for my mother, the question was "what would my father have wanted for her" and I believe it is Woodlands. Thank you for all you do for mum, especially during this difficult time.

I cannot speak more highly of them and their response to COVID has been first class and I am not at all surprised they have managed to keep the home safe. The home and staff are excellent and I am comforted knowing how well my husband is looked after. Thank you to all of them for their dedication and hard work.

Family atmosphere.

Mum has been a resident at Woodland Nursing Home for several years and I am very happy that she is receiving the best possible care. All the care staff are lovely.

I am delighted with the nursing care mum is recieving. The manager is excellent and all the staff extremely helpful and caring. Mum has settled in really well and we are all very happy with her care.

I score everything 10 out of 10 and would recommend Woodlands to anyone that requires nursing care. The resident was only with the home for a short period but was extremely well looked after during this difficult time. We took chocolates and flowers to the staff to thank them for their excellent service. Thank you for your kindness.

My father has been at Woodlands for six weeks now, his whole quality of life has improved dramatically. He is enjoying the lovely food, the staff are incredibly kind and patient and we feel very lucky to have found a place that he can receive such outstanding care.

There is always something going on at Woodlands. It is just like home, we are always welcome at any time and it doesn't matter how long we stay. The staff never ignore mum and are extremely friendly and helpful at all times.

I have been very happy with my care. I originally came in for palliative care but have now been sent home due to my recovery thanks to the outstanding nursing care. The staff are excellent and very obliging, nothing is too much trouble for them. Having a Pets as Therapy dog in the home is wonderful and the home has even allowed supervised visits from my dogs which means a great deal to me. I would highly recommend this home to anyone needing nursing care as it is homely and friendly.

The home has changed beyond recognition under the new owners and there has been a wonderful transformation. Woodlands is an excellent home and I'm grateful for the outstanding care and support they have given my mother.
