Mum has been very happy since she has been in the home. The care and attention have been very good and have helped Mum to settle in. The activities ladies are particularly patient and do some lovely work with all the residents.

Thank you for the excellent care received by my husband during the last month of his life. As well as catering to his many needs with good humour and compassion, they ensured that he had meals and drinks that he could enjoy consuming. All the staff were friendly and compassionate towards the family during our difficult times and kept us going with coffee, cake and biscuits and were always ready to answer any questions we might have. Although my husband was too ill to take part in the activities, he appreciated the quiet, restful atmosphere and the ever cheerful staff.

All staff I came into contact with were welcoming, friendly and keen both to help me understand the current situation of my friend and to hear about her life before this illness. The care home seemed light and airy, well maintained and friendly. My friend was comfortable, relaxed and appreciative of the kindness surrounding her.

Thanks to the team you are all amazing and Mum loved it there. You were all so kind to her, One member of staff even accepted that Mum called him by a nickname. You do a super job, and one staff member, in particular, is such a special person to her. If you need those socks sorting again just shout.

My mother has her last few days of life at Midfield Lodge Oakington. The staff were amazing very attentive to my mum and family visiting. Every single member of the team were so helpful and kind. Mum couldn't have been any happier in her last few days and hours of her life with the help of the whole team at Midfield Lodge.

I have a good understanding of the quality of care, my sister had been a resident for 4 years, and I was impressed enough to ask them to care for my husband as well. Thank you to every one of the staff.

There seems no restrictions on visitors other than the usual COVID test on entering. The amount of time my visitor can stay is unlimited unlike where my husband is. Brilliant!

It was nice to see Mum being looked after and happy in her room. The staff were pleasant and helpful and had banter with Mum.

Mum has been very well looked after since September 2018. Everyone is very friendly and caring. Thanks to all the lovely staff, she is happy here.

Not the smartest of homes, but they do what really matters. The senior nurses lead their team with great emotional intelligence, so the residents are understood as people. This plus compassionate and technically excellent physical care add up to an experience I would recommend.

Our cousin hasn't been in here too long, but we are quite satisfied with his care. Staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful and he is responding to all the care they are giving him here. He is eating and drinking much better.

Very nice setting and gardens. Staff are very helpful and caring. Food is very good and varied. Always made welcome even during COVID. In normal times, I am allowed to stay many hours and help with personal needs. 8 years here and we are still as happy as possible. All the staff are like friends to my wife and me. Please keep up the good work.

Lovely home for my mum. She is happy here and the staff have been amazing, especially with the COVID situation. Mum is well looked after and has been really enjoying the activities laid on. The new ladies are brilliant.

My mum spent ten months in Midfield Lodge. She was in during the pandemic, so it was not the usual circumstances, but the staff there worked really hard to keep her happy in those times she was without her family. She sadly passed away in January but I gain comfort knowing her time in Midfield was a time when she was not just looked after but truly cared for by everyone who works there. All the staff have huge hearts.

The staff have shown love to my mother-in-law. They have made her feel at home and that they care for her. Mother-in-law loves dogs and was missing having one of her own. The staff have now got a resident dog and he regularly visits the residents and my mother-in-law is thrilled. It has put a light back in her eyes and it is great to have up-to-date photos of the two of them together. Mother-in-law has received the best nursing care she possibly could have received over this past difficult year of Covid restrictions. It has brought my husband and me tremendous peace of mind to know she is in the best possible place at this time and receiving the best care for all her needs. Thank you with all of our hearts, for all that you have done, and continue to do, to make Mum feel loved and cared for when we are unable to do so ourselves at the moment. God bless all of you.

My mum moved into Midfield Lodge in March following a rapid progression of Alzheimer's disease. From the moment mum moved in, she was cared for extremely well and was treated with kindness and thoughtfulness. The staff are truly wonderful and went above and beyond what we expected of them - they all work so hard and really made an effort to get to know my mum as a person. Mum's day-to-day care needs, medical treatment and care for her well-being were of a very high standard. If there were any concerns about my mum, I was immediately informed and the nurses were very quick to pick up any changes in mum's condition. Midfield is a safe, happy and well-run care home and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody looking for care. I have been humbled by the kindness that they have all shown to me and my sister during the last few precious months of my Mum's life as she sadly passed away in December 2019 but feel grateful that she was in such a good place. Thank you.

My Mum went into the home on 2nd December 2019. She was very happy there. The care and love they all gave Mum as brilliant. Also, the care and support I was given too. Couldn't have been in a better place to end her days.
