Very nice setting and gardens. Staff are very helpful and caring. Food is very good and varied. Always made welcome even during COVID. In normal times, I am allowed to stay many hours and help with personal needs. 8 years here and we are still as happy as possible. All the staff are like friends to
my wife and me. Please keep up the good work.

Lovely home for my mum. She is happy here and the staff have been amazing, especially with the COVID situation. Mum is well looked after and has been really enjoying the activities laid on. The new ladies are brilliant.

My mum spent ten months in Midfield Lodge. She was in during the pandemic, so it was not the usual circumstances, but the staff there worked really hard to keep her happy in those times she was without her family. She sadly passed away in January but I gain comfort knowing her time in Midfield was
a time when she was not just looked after but truly cared for by everyone who works there. All the staff have huge hearts.

The staff have shown love to my mother-in-law. They have made her feel at home and that they care for her. Mother-in-law loves dogs and was missing having one of her own. The staff have now got a resident dog and he regularly visits the residents and my mother-in-law is thrilled. It has put a light
back in her eyes and it is great to have up-to-date photos of the two of them together. Mother-in-law has received the best nursing care she possibly could have received over this past difficult year of Covid restrictions. It has brought my husband and me tremendous peace of mind to know she is in the best possible place at this time and receiving the best care for all her needs. Thank you with all of our hearts, for all that you have done, and continue to do, to make Mum feel loved and cared for when we are unable to do so ourselves at the moment. God bless all of you.

My mum moved into Midfield Lodge in March following a rapid progression of Alzheimer's disease. From the moment mum moved in, she was cared for extremely well and was treated with kindness and thoughtfulness. The staff are truly wonderful and went above and beyond what we expected of them - they all
work so hard and really made an effort to get to know my mum as a person. Mum's day-to-day care needs, medical treatment and care for her well-being were of a very high standard. If there were any concerns about my mum, I was immediately informed and the nurses were very quick to pick up any changes in mum's condition. Midfield is a safe, happy and well-run care home and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody looking for care. I have been humbled by the kindness that they have all shown to me and my sister during the last few precious months of my Mum's life as she sadly passed away in December 2019 but feel grateful that she was in such a good place. Thank you.

My Mum went into the home on 2nd December 2019. She was very happy there. The care and love they all gave Mum as brilliant. Also, the care and support I was given too. Couldn't have been in a better place to end her days.

We went and visited this home before my mother arrived. We were shown around and able to meet the staff on shift. We were shown all the facilities on offer and were very pleased with everything we saw. Everybody was welcoming and made us feel at ease. As soon as my mother arrived from hospital, she
was made to feel welcome and offered a drink and food if she wanted. The staff all introduced themselves to her, making sure she could hear them and understand them. Although my mother was very stressed after the journey from hospital to Midfield, she was able to relax and recover from the journey. A very nice place and everybody is treated with dignity and respect.

My mum passed away at home in Midfield Lodge after moving in 10 months ago. Mum had Alzheimer's and was unable to walk at the point she came to live here. I have been overwhelmed by the care given to her and our family during her time here. Mum was very settled, happy and I could tell that she felt
safe and secure. All of her care needs were met with professionalism, dignity and a sense of humour. I feel that the staff all knew my mum well and they always had time to chat with her and any visitors. The bedrooms are not the biggest but they are functional and clean. The communal areas are welcoming with comfy furniture and there are beautiful gardens and easy parking. I'm a nurse and I feel very lucky that my mum was able to spend her last few months being cared for and was able to die here peacefully; all with such dignity and compassion. I have been touched by many small acts of respect and kindness shown to her. The staff are all very special people who go above and beyond to care.

My mother was well cared for in an efficient, effective and comfortable environment by staff who understood the need to maintain a low key presence around those suffering from Alzheimer's and similar cognitive disorders. A pleasant place to be despite not being most modern.

My father is cared for as well as you could be cared for. My sister and I agree on this.
The staff are friendly, talking to dad and us. We are always well informed of any problem dad has. The food is good and the homes are clean and tidy. We are happy with dads care.

I find Midfield Lodge a very much home from home place. It may not be as "shiny" as some I have visited but very welcoming and the staff are brilliant. The food is excellent and plenty of drinks on tap. My mum's room is basic, has no carpet and sometimes could be cleaner but that is my only gripe.

When Dad moved in, it seemed good but it soon became apparent management and staff issues were a problem. An awful lot of agency is used and therefore don't get to know the residents. This can cause problems especially in Dad's case, you need to know him and how to deal with his need before providing
the care. There has been a lot of management changes as well. When a certain senior is on, the whole home is different and organised.

Midfield Lodge was clean and the grounds were lovely and all the staff were excellent. They took great care of my brother and made sure that I was ok as well. I had food and drink and they were always there if I needed them to help or talk to. When he passed away, they made sure that I was ok and if
I needed anything I only had to ask. I can not praise them enough.

My aunt died at Midfield Lodge Care Home. I went to collect her belongings a few days later. I saw the administrator, she was very abrupt and unsympathetic. Quite surprising there seemed to be no interest or concern. I left feeling they did not care, just another death passing through.
