Everything seems to be efficiently run. Very clean, pleasant and helpful staff. Doctor available to discuss patient welfare - with appointment. No obvious demerits. Well done!! 10/10
Well cared for. Resident not too happy with the food and grapefruit not provided at breakfast.
Many thanks for taking the time to review Swan House - we appreciate all comments and feedback on the service we provide. I’m delighted to see you’d be likely to recommend us to others. We can certainly review the food options available here - I will talk in more detail with both yourself and the resident to make sure we are catering to everybody’s tastes. Thanks again.
All the staff treat my father with great dignity and respect. When visiting I'm made to feel welcome and always asked if I would like a tea or coffee.
Seems happy, has a nice room and view and can see people coming and going back and forth from the doctors. Gets on well with everyone. Always has a smile and is polite to everyone.
My dad has been looked after by the team at Swan House for ten months, they are all very caring and engage with the residents, treating them with kindness and respect.
My husband's illness is rare and his needs are complex. His mobility is very poor and he needs turning frequently, also his speech is compromised. The staff are diligent in giving his high level of routine care. They are all extremely kind and do their utmost to make and keep him comfortable. The staff are very well trained and obviously take pride in carrying out their duties to the best of their ability. The overall atmosphere at Swan House is one of positive concern for residents and visitors and it's a happy place.
Very helpful and caring. The head lady and all her staff were so lovely. They made us all very settled as we were very upset. Could not do enough, not only for the friend of mine but it was a lovely homely, friendly place. Well done Swan House.

I am a Registered General Nurse with a strong clinical background and a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care within the adult social care sector. Since qualifying in 2017, I have gained extensive experience in acute medicine through my work in the NHS, and have since transitioned into leadership roles in care home management.
Originally from Poland, I moved to the UK in 2009 and began my career in healthcare as a Healthcare Assistant, which gave me a strong foundation in frontline care. I later completed my nursing degree at Anglia Ruskin University, where I developed a deep understanding of holistic nursing practice and clinical leadership.
As Deputy Manager, I am committed to upholding the highest standards of clinical care, staff development, and regulatory compliance. I am particularly passionate about dignity in care, end-of-life support, and creating a positive, supportive environment for both residents and team members.
I bring to my role a combination of hands-on nursing expertise, empathetic leadership, and a genuine dedication to improving quality of life for the people we support.
