This nursing home I cannot fault quite reluctant to visit as I've had a bad experience with another nursing home with the close friend of mine but the minute I walked in the door they were friendly, professional and the home is light it's clean the food is amazing and my neighbour has never been so relaxed and so happy. Every member of staff and I mean every member of staff has a smile on their face they're welcoming you walk through the door with fresh coffee if you want it I just think it's amazing and I want to thank every single one that works there.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments - this means a lot to the team and I will share this with them
Since 7th December, when Mum came into Rose Lodge, every visit has been excellent in terms of staff attitude/attitudes to myself and to Mum (as we are all on the journey). However, today felt moved to write something. First was the lady who was trying to get Mum to eat something; her kindness, caring and love even were just so touching to watch, that I could have hugged her. Then another staff member, when she needed to change her pad, just such a loving attitude towards Mum. Then so good to me regarding explanations of things, both were exceptional.
Thank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home and team, who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. I will pass on your feedback to the team.
The respite care afforded, at short notice, to both my parents-in-law was excellent overall. The staff were friendly and encouraging. Everyone was chatty and raised spirits. The food was enjoyed very much by both of them. It was nice to see how clean everything was. My husband and I wish to share how grateful we were at a difficult time. Many thanks to all the staff.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure to have both of your in-laws with us and we hope they are both doing well back at home. I will ensure your thoughts are passed on to the team.
My auntie went to Rose Lodge Care Home for end-of-life care. My cousin and I found the home to be excellent. The room was lovely and all the staff went out of their way to help the whole family. I would definitely recommend Rose Lode as an excellent place for anyone's loved ones to stay. Thank you to everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words, this means a lot and I will share this with the team.
I cannot thank this care home enough for what they have done for my dad. He has thrived in Rose Lodge. My dad could not walk after being very unwell in the hospital, he is a new man after 3 weeks here. Walking to dinner and enjoying having cups of tea in the cafe area with other residents. The staff can't do enough for him from cleaners, carers, nurses, activities lady, hairdresser and cooks! The lovely happy staff speaks volumes. Made me very welcome when visiting also. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for your kind words- they really mean a lot to us and it has been a pleasure caring for your Dad.
My father is treated with respect and dignity, and his likes and dislikes are known by the staff, which shows they have taken the time to learn about my father.
It gives me reassurance and comfort to know he is looked after very well by the staff. They have a full range of activities in the home, and the activities coordinator goes the extra mile.
The manager and all the staff do an amazing job - can't praise them enough; thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words; your Dad is a pleasure to have here. I will pass this on to the team caring for Dad.
I like it here.

My father was admitted to Rose Lodge for a short-term recovery period, funded by social services, following a lengthy hospital stay. I was very impressed with the care and support given to him and me. I would be very happy to use this care home again, if needed.
Thank you for taking the time to send us a review and for your kind words which we will share with the team.
I have enjoyed my time here. Love the staff.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it was a pleasure having you with us and this will be shared with the team.
I cannot thank the amazing staff of Rose Lodge enough for the care they have shown to my amazing 91 years young mum; she has come back to life since she arrived here just before the first lockdown. She loves the music provided. Simply the best!
Wow! Thank you so much for this great review about Rose Lodge and the care that your Mum is experiencing in our home. It is a delight to have her with us, and your kind words mean a lot to all of the team. Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback.
I cannot fault anything here at all. Staff, without exception, are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. Foos marvellous - care faultless. He is very happy here.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a great review and your kind words too about the care and team here at Rose Lodge Care Home - it really does mean a lot to us. Thank you so much!
My dad was transferred from the hospital for respite to Barchester Rose Lodge Care Home. The staff are very friendly and approachable. I called the staff every day as, as a family, we were unable to visit as my dad had Covid-19 and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent care, we cannot thank the staff enough. My dad enjoyed his time in the home and was very complimentary of the food and the staff that looked after him. A special mention to four members of staff, we are very grateful. Dad has put on weight and has made a fantastic improvement due to his care.
Thank you so much for your kind words - it was a pleasure to have your Dad with us and I will pass your comments to the team.
Rose Lodge was the first place in many years he was able to call home. The management and staff work tirelessly at Rose Lodge. The standard of the home is very high and has a very good feel to it. Thank you all at Rose Lodge for the care you gave to my brother.

Very good care. The home is very clean and smart, just like a five-star hotel. Food excellent, lots of choices. Staff friendly, go above and beyond to help you, even when short-staffed.
Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure to have you stay with us, and I will pass this on to the team.
My father-in-law enjoyed his respite stay at Rose Lodge. This is the second time on respite; he loves the food and is well looked after.
Thank you so much for your kind words; your father-in-law was a pleasure to have with us.
My brother was only with you for one week before he sadly passed away. His care was exceptional from all departments staff and the same care was given to us his family.
Thank you so much for your kind words and at such a difficult time for you. I will pass this to the team.
It feels like a hotel, when I go to the cafe area there is always someone to talk to.
Gardens are really well kept and look fantastic in the summer.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. I will pass this on to the team.
Thank you to all involved in dad's care. He has put on weight, is content and settled. He is treated with respect, and we feel very involved in all matters of his care. We are very lucky that dad's stay coincides with easier visiting regulations, and we are made to feel welcome. A very caring, and homely care home, which is very well managed.
Thank you so much for your kind review - I shall pass this on to the team.
I came for a week and I love it. I had my hair done and watched the banjo man. Staff are lovely and they feed you well.
Thank you so much for your kind words - I will pass this to the team.
