Overall Experience
From the first introductory meeting, we had a positive experience with the staff and carers of Larchwood nursing Home.

Our father was only with you for a week before he sadly passed away but in that week he received very professional and compassionate care.

The nursing home from which my father was taken and placed in Larchwood house neglected not only his health but also his physical well-being. The staff at Karchwood House who I have come to know are all caring and were very attentive to my father's needs. Furthermore, they were friendly and professional. My father was looked after at Larchwood House very very well and I wish he had been there from the moment he was discharged from hospital.

Overall Experience

I am very impressed with the changes under the new management. My mum has a lovely garden facing room and I have always found the staff to be amazing. They are so genuinely kind and caring and do such an incredible job. They always engage with my mum and there are some real-life heroes and heroines working at Larchwood. There are regular activities and the brilliant events co-ordinator updates the social network page on a daily basis, so you can keep in touch with all the activities. The recent Royal Wedding Party was a nice touch and I really enjoyed spending the afternoon yesterday sitting out in the courtyard with mum, whilst the residents all shared ice pops to keep themselves cool! Under the new manager, I expect this home to go from strength to strength. Keep up the good work all at Larchwood - it is very much appreciated.

The care and attention my mother receives is very good. My mother's needs are complex and nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff. They are always friendly, willing and respectful towards my mother and to myself. She is very happy in her environment, the room is a good size, clean and bright and secure.

I was so impressed by the nice smell as we entered the reception area/main walkway. The staff were so friendly and happy. The whole place seems regenerated under the new management. I loved the photos of all the residents as we entered. The future party for the Royal Wedding is really nice touch! Keep on rolling!

My Mother moved into Larchwood Nursing home, 7th January.
I found the place very homely and the staff very friendly and caring.

They put my mind at ease at this sad and stressful time, knowing this was my mum's new home.
