Overall Experience

We were very happy with the care our mother received during her stay in the coach house annexe. Sadly, the stay was only four weeks as her health worsened quickly and she died on the 14th August. The staff managed her final days with care and dignity for which we are very grateful. Reviewing the full facilities and menus offered by Millbridge is difficult, as Mum was bed-bound and unable to take full advantage.

My stepfather only had 3 months on and off at Millbridge and much of the time he was in hospital. He quickly referred to the place as 'home' and loved his room. Staff struck up a close relationship with him quickly and it was apparent he enjoyed his time there very much. Would recommend highly to anyone.

Overall Experience

Lack of care was evident, left my husband in bed gone eleven. No call bell, no pillow, lost most of his clothes. They seemed to think that my husband can't talk and therefore could leave him in bed till afternoon staring at a wall and then to be put to bed early to do the same. The staff had no knowledge of any of my husbands care needs when asked about medication and food needs. Removed my husband straight away. His room was disgusting and dirty never seen such a filthy room. Staff were very helpful while we were there but was evident was just because we were at the home.
